Ich mag Warzone und gehe gerade die Lore durch, aber diese Designs sprechen mich null an. Da fehlt einfach etwas.
Die Designs von Eternal gehen wieder Richtung 1st. uns 2nd. Edition, wieder mehr Heroscale.
Ich bin nach wie vor ein großer Fan von Resurrection, sowohl von den Minis als auch von den Regeln, aber vielleicht hab ich jetzt mit OPR wieder mal Gelegenheit meine WRZ Minis aufs Feld zu führen.
Die Lore von Warzone ist fantastisch, die liebe ich seit 30 Jahren. <3
Das Lore von Mutant Chronicles ist in der Tat super.
Hat zwar krasse ’90-Vibes aber die Updates, die Modiphius for ein paar Jahren rausgebracht hat, als die die Lizenz hatten, sind echt gut und mMn zum Großteil noch mal besser als vieles vom Orginalmaterial. Auch deren Siege of the Citadel ist super.
Ich nutze meine WZ Minis und auch die von Siege of the Citadel schon seit einiger Zeit für OPR. Mal abgesehen davon, dass es mit der Army Forge total einfach ist sich die WZ Fraktionen zu basteln gibt es auch Community Books.
Wenn man die alten Minis mag kann man welche der Orginalserie aus Zinn bei Prince August bestellen. Die haben auch die alten WZ Regeln und Erweiterungen zum Download als PDF auf ihrer Seite. Leider sind durch den schlechten Pfund-Kurs und das ganze Chaos auf der Insel die Preise stark gestiegen. Noch nicht GW Niveau aber ein Charmodell kostet zZ ca. 6 £. Zum ergänzen der Sammlung ggf eine gute Anlaufstelle.

Nachdem Prodos (Archon Studios) die Lizenz verloren hat, hat Res Nova vor zwei Jahren via Kickstarter mit Warzone Etrnal einen neuen Versuch gestartet. Ist aber sehr stark auf den Nordamerikainschen Markt konzentriert. Ich hab damals überlegt am KS teilzunehmen, hab mich aber letztlich dagegen entschieden. Zu den neuen Regeln kann ich nur sagen, dass man deutlich Richtung Skirmisher geht, Truppengröße 10-12 … während Resurrection ja klar ein mass Skirmisher war 30-50 Miniaturen pro Seite.
… mit der OPR Cooperation hat man nun die Möglichkeit in die Breite zu gehen.
