Infamously, the summer offensives of the Wehrmacht during Nazi Germany’s invasion of Soviet Russia never achieved any strategic victories. This resulted in German soldiers having to fight tooth and nail to hold on to hard won gains against Soviet soldiers reasonably equipped for the devastating winter conditions of the 1940s.

To compliment Tony Barton’s well loved, and very popular summer Soviets, he has turned his attention to their comrades who fought across the bleak steppes of Eastern Ukraine and Soviet Belarus. Now available are Rifle squads in Greatcoat, Winter padded suits and Snowsuits.

They are perfect for those interested in the Moscow Strategic Offensive of 41/42, Voronezh–Kharkov Offensive of 42/43, the Dnieper–Carpathian offensive and the Leningrad–Novgorod offensive of 44/45.
