Dystopian Wars: Neue Vorbestellungen
Von Warcradle Studios sind zwei neue Boxen für Dystopian Wars zur Vorbestellung vorgestellt worden.
Commonwealth Frontline Squadrons – 23,00 GBP

Commonwealth Frontline Squadrons are the first into the fray for Mother Russia. With veteran commanders and patriotic crew, they do not hesitate in fighting up close and personal, pounding the enemy with volleys of turret fire and broadsides whilst protecting the more fragile carriers and other support vessels.
The Commonwealth Frontline Squadrons kit builds six multi-part plastic miniatures;
- 2x Commonwealth Cruisers
- Each Cruiser can be built as either Kutsov, Norilsk, Oleg or Sineus Class
- 4x Commonwealth Rurik Frigates

- Miniatures are supplied unpainted and some assembly will be required.
- Unit Cards are not included and can be found on the Dystopian Wars website.
Enlightened Frontline Squadrons – 23,00 GBP
The architects of the Dystopian Age, the Covenant of the Enlightened wield their formidable intellects to sweep aside those ignorant or deluded who stand in the way of Scientific Progress. These masters of technology covet knowledge above all things and believe that it is only they who can steer humanity on a path to enlightenment. With their wondrous war-engines, the Covenant of the Enlightened take every opportunity to demonstrate their technological supremacy. The Enlightened Frontline Squadrons kit builds eight multi-part plastic miniatures;
- 2x Enlightened Cruisers
- Each Cruiser can be built as either Antarctica, Chatelet, Copernicus, Lovelace, Stiletto or Ulysses Class
- 6x Enlightened Drone Frigates
- Each Frigate can be built as Germain or Merian Class
- 2x Enlightened SRS Tokens
- 2x Base

Freu mich wahnsinnig auf das neue/überarbeitete/alte oder wie auch immer System!
Hab mir schon die deutsche Starterbox gesichert und bin richtig gespannt wie die restlichen Fraktionen umgesetzt werden.

Nevermind. Ich habe verschlafen, dass man die schon vorbestellen kann. Das mache ich jetzt mal.
Insgesamt sind die Modelle ien gute Weiterentwicklung des bekannten Stils der Fraktionen aus dem alten Dystopian Wars. Ich warte aber noch auf einen EU-Distributor, da es mich aktuell doch etwas abschreckt, direkt in UK zu bestellen.

Ich glaube die heißen jetzt Imperium. 🙂
Wird es die Ottomanen auch wieder geben bzw. Wo werden die zugehören? Hab da noch ne Flotte rumstehen, die in der 2.Edition leider nicht konkurrenzfähig war.
Ja wird es geben, nur der Name ändert sich etwas (Sultanat o.ä.).
Vorbestellen kannst du das Spiel schon bei fantasywelt.

Die Flotten in der Box interessieren mich nicht.
Der globale Superblock des Imperiums umfasst die preussische Nation, Preussisch-Skandinavien und Dänemark, soviel zumindest zu den ehemaligen Fraktionen bis Dystopian Wars 2.5
Die einzelnen Nationen gibt es auch weiterhin und genauso können sie wie bisher als reine Nationsflotten gespielt werden.
Das (Ottoman) Sultanate ist die Reinkanarnation des Ottoman Empires und umfasst zusätzlich auch griechische und ägyptische Flotten, aber wie im Imperium kann man sich darauf beschränken nur eine bestimmte Nation zu spielen.
Wie groß sind die Modelle in etwa im Vergleich mit ManoWar, Dreadfleet, Black Seas oder KoW: Armada? Kann dazu schon etwas sagen? 🙂
Der YT Kanal ‚OnTableTop‘ hat ein Video in dem die Starter Box ausgepackt wird, vieleicht kannst du es damit abschätzen.
Früher war das Spiel in 1:1200. KoW Armada dürfte also deutlich größer sein, die anderen Spiele kenne ich nur vom Namen.
Die Minis gefallen mir, die Verarbeitung macht n guten Eindruck, das Setting ist cool und die Firma ist für gute Qualität bekannt. Ich bestell mir vieleicht auch den Starter vor.

Die Firma hat in hausinterne Produktion investiert, hat ne schöne Internetseite mit allen Downloads und das ganze kommt in Deutsch raus.
Das sind tolle Aspekte!
Ich finde es cool, dass das System wiederbelebt wird.
Leider ist mir persönlich das neue Design zu Comic-haft. Die Waffen und z.B bei den „Russen“ die Verzierungen wirken überdimensioniert.
Aber da kann ich meine alten Flotten Gassi führen:-)
Für meinen Geschmack irgendwie recht viele Fregatten bei den Enlightened… da es da deutlich weniger Varianz gibt wären mehr Cruiser finde ich besser in der Box.
