Beneath the silent canopy of the ancient woods, the ground begins to vibrate. A low, rhythmic clicking echoes through the fog, followed by the terrifying, deep hum of translucent wings. The colony has broken its slumber.

Next month on Patreon, we are introducing a unique, standalone theme: Insectoids.

The wargaming range focuses on a highly organized, armored vanguard. Death approaches from above with majestic winged beasts, while the frontline is held by heavy infantry wielding biological shields and multi-armed, scythe-limbed shock troops. Ruling over this brood is a massive, tentacled centerpiece queen, accompanied by a towering, razor-sharp mantis apex hunter. Joining the army is also a humanoid insectoid spellcaster, manipulating foul magic both on foot and atop a heavy beetle mount.

For roleplayers and game masters, the deep wilderness and subterranean tunnels hold a different kind of threat. As your party ventures into the dark, they will encounter a feather-scaled, ostrich-like predator with a lethal axe-beak and a massive, coiled Behir—a multi-limbed serpent-dragon covered in rock-hard scales. Creeping through the pitch-black tunnels are also the horrors of the underworld, one-eyed monsters bristling with sharp spikes that hunt down anything that moves.

July is going to be a fantastic month for anyone looking forward to organic textures and distinct painting projects. Clear your printing beds, grab your resin, and get ready for the swarm.
