Striketeam Commander: Neue Previews

Hi All,

Hope you’ve all been beating the heat over this last week, it’s been a swelterer here in the office. Despite the temperature, we’ve been soldiering on and have some fun things to show off.

PHR

First up, Duncan has been hard at work getting PHR Immortals and Valkyries into the plastics pipeline. He’s done a fantastic job with the sculpts as you can see below!

He’ll be getting these bodies cut and posed next and we’ll be sharing some more of these sculpts off in future updates.

Wolverine

It wouldn’t be an update without something UCM to show off and we’ve gotten a fancy new sprue to show off. The UCM Wolverine is packed with bits. All of the options we’ve shown off on Alex’s painted model all fit onto this one sprue. You’ll be able to give this one-man scout buggy a minigun, a laser, or even multiple types of missile to run rings around your opponent.

Backerkit

One final warning for the backerkit! We’ll be closing the backerkit at the end of the month. Once it’s closed that’s it for new pledges, though you’ll still be able to add items to an existing pledge or complete your backerkit if you’ve already backed.

A bit of a lean update for you this week, but even with the heat here in the UK, we’re still managing some steady progress towards plastics.

PHR Immortals and Valkyries are being posed with a more complete set of weapon options. These are still WIP, so things can change between here and the physical sprue but the preview images should give you all a good idea of what these will look like once they go to tooling.

There’s still a bit more work to do on these but we hope you like seeing thier progress. Shaltari are next up in the sculpting queue and we should hopefully have some preview images to show off in the next update!
