Ophidian Alliance

The Ophidians believe themselves to be the descendants of Vortirus, the Dragon of Chaos. They were the undisputed masters of the world — until they nearly destroyed themselves in a desperate attempt to summon the Dragon of Chaos back to Signum. The sands swallowed the ruins of their abandoned cities, and new peoples began to divide the world among themselves. Yet the Ophidians endured. The elder Mnemoses fell into slumber, preserving wisdom and forbidden knowledge for future generations. Loyal guardians kept watch over the empire’s sleep, while tireless scouts slithered through the villages, cities, and strongholds of the younger races. The surviving tribes withdrew into valleys and caves. Still, the remnants of the Ophidians awaited the Great Awakening — the day the Mnemoses would rise, and their dominion would return.

When the breath of Vortirus brushed the world of Signum, even for a moment, the earth trembled, waves crashed upon coastal cities, and ancient sanctuaries and mighty seals were shattered. Feeling the presence of their progenitor once again, the Ophidians knew their long wait had come to an end.

The time has come for the renewed Ophidian Alliance to break the shell — and reclaim dominion over the world.

Reborn Ophidian Alliance

Across hidden nests, desert citadels, and temple vaults, opidian blood-engineers and sorcerers spent centuries shaping new strains of their race. Some were bred for war beneath the burning sun, others for silent movement through forests, ruins, or foreign cities. Winged knights, four-armed guardians, scaled infiltrators, creatures bearing almost human faces—all are part of the Ophidians’ design.
