Our First Weekend Teaser for June… The German Wurfrahmen 40 rocket launcher combined half-track vehicles, such as the SdKfz 251, or captured French light tanks with rocket artillery to create a more mobile and somewhat better-protected artillery piece than the Nebelwerfer. In soldiers‘ slang, it was called the „Stuka on Foot“ — because of its characteristic whistling sound, similar to that of the Ju 87 „Stuka“ — or the „Howling Cow.“
