New Range!Travelbattle MetalDuring the build up to Christmas we had an unforeseen explosion in the sales of our old Travelbattle game. With this sudden new interest we thought we’d better make some additions to TB. New plastics (of a different period/s) will take a while to do, but in the meantime, we thought additional Napoleonic troop types in metal might be worth doing. Alan started converting the 8mm plastics into iconic troop types of the period, keeping the simple form of the plastic figures (both Alan and Michael made) so painting too much detail is kept to a minimum, but making sure the silhouette is recognisable. Das kommt jetzt unerwartet, ist doch die Veröffentlichung des Basissets schon ne gute Zeit her. Aber cool, dass sie noch was bringen.

Ich finde das großartig. Das Travelbattle Set habe ich mir mal geholt für genau das, was es soll: kleines Napo-Gefecht für zwischendurch, für unterwegs, im Urlaub, auch im Zug hats schon geklappt. Dass da jetzt neuer Kram kommt, freut mich ungemein 🙂
Ich mag es sehr, hoffe aber dass die auch mehr Regeln Szenarios etc bringen und nicht nur zusätzliche Miniaturen die dann wie ein kosmetisches Update wirken.
Das System ist klein aber fein und hat noch viel offenes Potential.
Das find ich jetzt richtig cool! Ich mag das Konzept, den Retro-Style der Minis und die Tatsache, dass man recht gut generische Gefechte damit spielen kann. Ich glaube ich werde zuschlagen.
Cool, ich hoffe damit einhergehend kommt ein Regelrefresh. Die sind selbst mit dem FAQ nicht bis zu Ende gedacht.
