“Partha Wars” is an epic tabletop battle game with 30mm miniatures, that brings the best elements of might and magic to your experience. Designed for 1v1 or more, Partha Wars uses a dynamic D6-based system to recreate the epic stories and battles that shape the world of Partha Terra, as seen in upcoming The LOK book series and animated show. Be the General, pick your faction, choose your heroes and get ready to immerse yourself in the battle of a lifetime. Write your own story in the high-tech, sci-fi universe of The LOK.”
Under twin moons and skies that once echoed with the steady beat of dragon wings, Partha Terra stands as a breathtaking world of raw magic and steampunk innovation. Once ruled by ancient dragons who twisted the flow of arcane energy for their own gain, the world rose up to reclaim its destiny. In their place came the Lok—mages attuned to the Labyrinthian gates—and a golden age of steam, spells, and soaring progress. But peace shattered when the Razium arrived: interstellar invaders seeking a rare, rune-bound metal called Arcanium. A fragile truce formed after the Federation King and his Spartan Paladins demonstrated Partha Terra’s hidden magical might. Together, magic and tech beat back a returning draconic threat… but the cost was only beginning.
Seven years ago, that alliance crumbled. The Razium betrayed their vows, assassinated the King, and scattered the Spartans in a coup meant to seize control of the Labyrinthian itself. Their real prize wasn’t Arcanium—it was the raw power of creation. But before his death, the King sealed the gates and entrusted the key to his brother, General Matias. His son, Lincoln, the most gifted Lok in generations, vanished into legend. Now, rumors stir. The Razium are hunting once more. And the world—scarred by betrayal and thirsting for purpose—turns its gaze toward the unknown future.
Across the continents of Ultima Prime and Ultima Thule, civilizations flourish and fracture: skybound human cities touch ancient ruins, Dwarger forge empires of steam, the Aun Ka rule deserts with science and suns, and whispers of dragonfire return in the mists of Gardari. Elves hidden by enchantment, frost giants, Oni warriors, and forgotten gods all walk the edge of a new age. Partha Terra is a world brimming with wonder—and war. The gates stir. Magic wakes. And one name echoes across fate itself: the Lok.
The time has come to choose your path: to defend the Federation, serve the invaders, or claim the Labyrinthian for yourself.

What is partha wars?
Partha Wars is a 30mm tabletop miniatures battle game set in the high-tech, war-torn universe of The LOK. Designed for 1v1 or multiplayer action, this D6-based system throws you into fast-paced tactical warfare—from small-scale skirmishes to large-scale tournament play. You decide how you want to play: adjust the table size, unit count, and mission style to fit your gaming group or competitive goals.
The game uses a dynamic „you-go-I-go“ activation system where each character or unit has a set number of actions and reactive abilities. Strategic orders, tactical timing, and clever positioning are all key, making every moment of play engaging. Thanks to reactive mechanics, both players are always in the action—anticipating moves, countering threats, and making bold plays in the heat of battle.
This is the premier entry point into the LOK universe that introduces players to the rich sci-fi world of Partha Terra. Players can jump straight into battle—either through narrative-driven scenarios or head-to-head skirmishes.
Objectives & Play
A Partha War pits two rival armies from the LOK universe against each other in a battle for tactical dominance. Players score points by completing mission objectives drawn from scenario and objective cards. Victory goes to the player who best executes their strategy—not just the one who wipes out their opponent. No cheap turn-one alpha strikes here!
Each game is played over five rounds (or until one army is fully eliminated—but even then, the war may not be lost). Players take turns deploying units in terrain-rich environments, choosing positions that suit their army’s strengths. Once deployment is complete and the first turn is rolled for, the battle begins.
During each round, players activate their units in turn based on activation values. Heroes and units strive to complete mission objectives and earn Arcanium Points, which determine the winner. Throughout the game, players can issue orders, interrupt enemy actions, and pull off high-risk tactics—adding layers of depth and surprise.
Just be careful—once an order is issued, there’s no turning back.
victory and beyond
After five intense rounds (or when mission conditions are met), players tally their points to determine who has achieved victory—and altered the course of the Partha Wars.
MEET THE CREATOR
Tommy Rice brings over 39 years of gaming experience to Partha Terra. In addition to playing tabletop games since he was 7, he has worked with some of the best game creators and industry professionals in the world—Games Workshop, Gale Force Nine, Mythic, Monolith, among others. And now, he has brought his talents and world to an amazing company: Catalyst Game Labs! This incredible team has jumped in and is now bringing the game and lore of The Partha Wars to you. He’s a home-grown member of the gaming community!
Tommy is a full nerd and home-grown member of the gaming community—but that’s not all. He has also found success as a professional football player and powerlifter, and now he can add author and actor to the list as well. We know—it sounds crazy. What hasn’t he done, you ask? Well, not a lot. But it’s that slight crazy edge that has helped Tommy succeed. And he would tell you himself: he always fails. But he says it’s the failures—and how you get back up from the defeats—that bring the greatest success.
Early in his career, he moved from Alabama to California, where he acted in commercials and began chasing his dream of playing professional football. That’s where he met John Madden, a key figure in his life. Mr. Madden told a young Tommy that he had the “IT” factor, and if he kept trying, he would succeed at his dream.
Well, as much as Tommy loves football (and he LOVES football), his real passion has always been gaming, movies, and storytelling. He knew he had what it took to make his dreams come true—so that’s exactly what he did. He wrote a book and started working in gaming.
As he says: we all have our Dragons (the things that knock us down, our failures). It’s how you get up that counts. You’re your Dragon. And welcome to The Partha Wars!
Starborn Strategists and Warlords of the Frozen Void
The Razium are a highly advanced, purple-skinned alien race descended from the stars. Though biologically similar to humans, their unique physiology grants them resilience in extreme cold and their society rases them with the innate ability to interface seamlessly with advanced technology. Masters of digital warfare and strategic command, they are brilliant tacticians—but rely on their powerful Mecha suits, advanced weapons, and Za warriors for strength in close combat.
Once locked in a brutal war with the Zajux, the two factions mysteriously united, forming the powerful Razium Dynasty. Together, they launched a campaign of conquest across nearby star systems, absorbing worlds and expanding their influence. As their empire grew, so did their ambition—and their rule became rigid, demanding strict loyalty from all who joined.
But power breeds enemies. The Razium armada was shattered by an unknown alien force, scattering their fleet. One half vanished; the other fought their way to safety and made for a planet where they could refit. Led by the battle-hardened Nemsor Vaul, who is the one who knew of this world set course to the planet of Partha Terra, seeking the metal called Arcanium. This element could repair their starships, and make them mor powerful and durable. Once they reached the planet the armada docked to strategize a plan of battle, while a mile over the planet, a portal opened on the bridge of the mighty command ship Lords Wrath. Through that portal walked King Agesilaus and his Spartan-Paladin Guard— not realizing the magic on the planet below them or the warriors they now faced, the Razium called for parlay for they had just seen the power of the Labrynthian, the place where magic comes from. Atruce was struck and magic and Technology were shared… but not all secrets are shared equally….
GAMEPLAY
The Razium army excels in armor and firepower, boasting arguably the best ranged attacks in the game. Their deadly Rage rule boosts the killing potential of both Razium soldiers and their powerful Za generals. In the Partha Wars system, the Razium rely on strategic positioning, extra moves, and devastating ranged combat.
Strength. Honor. Unity.
The Kingdom of the Federation Prime is the dominant power on the continent of Ultima Prime, a land rich in resources, traditions, and history. It is the heart of civilization and the most influential political and military force in the known world.
Forged by the legendary Line of Tor, who united the scattered territories and whos Lok masters learned the mysterious Labrynthian, once the Dragons, the original protectors, fell. the Prime thrives on unity, resilience, and a deep sense of duty. Though less advanced than their cosmic technological rivals the Razium the Federation Green artificer school has learned much of Razium technology reverse engineering it and now have almost caught them on scope. Regardless, the people of Prime—the Primeriens—are known for their grit, intelligence, and indomitable spirit.
At the heart of the Kingdom’s strength lies its powerful leadership. A King rules as both the political head and supreme commander of the armies, advised by a high council of the 12 most wise leaders and Lok mages and flanked by elite generals. In times of war, the revered Spartan Paladins—led by champions that can manipulate the Magnus or magnetic properties—take to the battlefield, unmatched in honor and combat prowess.
GAMEPLAY
The Federation are the classic heroes—well-rounded soldiers with solid weapons and the legendary Spartan Paladins. Masters of strong movement, melee strikes, and objective control, they excel in versatile combat scenarios. Their strength lies in tactical adaptability and elite upgrades like the Ulthwan, enabling swift elimination of key targets. However, they must stay wary of overwhelming massed firepower.
The Elerosse-Leflin-Seana Drannar Eldra Elves hail from hidden lands far to the east and west—mystical realms long isolated after the dragons betrayed the world out of greed. Proud but not arrogant, they rarely consort with outsiders, especially under the rule of the stoic Elf Lord Moncul.
That all changed when his vain son, Prince Tusho, broke sacred elven law by wielding a cursed weapon to end a war—unleashing an ancient demon in the process. Though aided by the living marble guardians known as the Phenii, Tusho’s recklessness brought disgrace upon his house. As punishment, the king cut his hair—marking him as Shorn, a title of eternal shame—and exiled him and his followers to the human world.
Now a bitter outcast, Tusho blames humanity for his downfall. Clad in enchanted Phenii armor and backed by loyal Trolls, he has seized control of half of the criminal city of Royal, using its chaos to fuel both his revenge and his rising power. Allied with the dangerous Razium and smuggling weapons into Federation cities, Tusho’s influence continues to spread—and now, he commands a dragon of his own.
GAMEPLAY
The Dru Nar Outcasts are fast, cunning, and deadly—far from their regal Sea Dru Nar kin. These city-dwelling tricksters rely on deception, superior Reflex (the highest in the game), and hit-and-run tactics. Their unique Thraft firepower and lightning-fast strikes let them outmaneuver enemies and exploit weaknesses before anyone can react.
Where Gold Glitters, Secrets Burn, and Anything Can Be Bought.
The cities of Partha Terra are generally clean, safe, and peaceful. However, even in the most beautiful gardens, there are snakes in the grass. Law and order can’t be everywhere, especially in a city owned by gangsters. Meet the Kissar: a mercenary force on Royal, one of the planet’s most populated cities. Every race, species, and traveler under the stars can be found here—from off-world traders to pleasure-seekers and warlords. Casinos, saloons, exotic shows, and black market tech are just a few of the city’s many draws. If it exists, you can find it here—for a price. Mansions hide behind fortress walls, and deals are sealed in shadow. It’s a place where the rich rule in luxury, and the poor gamble for a chance to taste it.
Chaos and color. Underneath the Kissar’s ruthless boss, Dillion, the human-dominated city pulses with neon lights, opulence, and vice. Beautiful, brutal, mysterious, and mercenary—this is a city where anything is possible… and everything is for sale.
GAMEPLAY
The ultimate wildcard faction, blending Ulthwan, Trolls, Dwarger, and even Razium tech into one flexible force. Their core troops are solid but less armored than Razium, less melee-focused than Federation, and slower than Dru Nar. What they lack in specialization, they make up for in unmatched versatility—giving every General a toolkit to adapt and dominate any battlefield.
