May New Releases
In May the Orcs storm out of their fortresses. Led by the Orc Boss and the Bone Shaman, the Iron Warriors are the mainstay of the army, brutish, angry and ready for a fight. The Iron Brutes are heavy armored Orcs with strong muscular frames giving them beast like qualities. The Tusk-beast Chariot is a mobile war platform that’s dangerous from all sides. Tusk-beasts up from will rip and tear, while the orcs in the back slash and stab.
The Ratmen Clans start their mission in May as well. This tactical team of valiant vermin is lead by the Clan Handler, giving orders though coms as situations change. The Operators are multi-skilled rats that perform most of a missions primary duties. The Sharpshooters are specialists in getting close to the enemy silently so they can take out enemy commanders with their Sniper Carbines. The Burrower tank is a sleekly designed runner style vehicle that gets the rats to their entry point.
You’ll also get a new Quest Hero, a new Short Story with Mission, and early access to the A Study in Treachery campaign for Age of Fantasy: Quest as well as early access to the Testing the Limits campaign for Grimdark Future: Star Quest

Für die Sci-Fi Ratten werde ich wieder paar Monate abonnieren.
Ja die sehen echt interessant aus.
Vor allem was ganz eigenes.
…passen nur stilistisch kaum zu den Weltraumratten die ich schon habe.
Vielleicht sind die alten dann „böse“ Desperados und die neuen die „guten“, zivilisierten.
Ja, etwas zu nett.. da gefallen mir die von Mortian etwas besser, einfach spaceger 😊
Ich hab nichts gegen nett an sich.
Im OPR Lore sind die Ratmen auch nett und hilfsbereit… gegenüber den meisten.
Die von Mortian fine ich nicht spaciger sonder mehr „cyber“. Heissen ja auch Cyberrats. Die sind eher cyberpunkiger „near future“ und haben diesen ausser-Kontrolle-geratenes-Experiment-Vibe.
Mit der passenden Bemalung können die gut oder böse rüberkommen. Da ich meine vom Farbschema her an meine Mantic Veermin angepaßt habe und die eher Skaven-in-Space sind, sind meiner Cyberrats böse.
Das sehe ich aber zZ bei den Ratmen nicht. Die sind schon von den Gesichtern her zu knuffig. Mal sehe was da noch kommt. Vieleicht sind ja ein paar bösere dabei.
Wobei „gute“ Ratten schon was besonderes ist. Da hat OPR fast ein Alleinstellungsmerkmal.
Ich finde das Fahrzeug auch echt gelungen. Schön was mit echten Science Fiction Vibes. Nicht immer nur Retro, Nietenkosntruktionen im Weltraum. Als Burrower Tank ist es aber etwas dünn nur mit einem Schaufelrad vorne dran. Vor allem wenn man die Stats von dem Ding betrachtet.
