Modern Miniatures.eu präsentieren im Rahmen ihres Patreons ein Work in Progress ihrer Miami Vice inspirierten Modelle.
Miami Vice inspired WIP update and some painted minis!
It´s friday again and after a very busy week i´m happy to zone out a bit and write up the first update for the Junerelease: the Miami Vice themed expansion!
This is the Vibe that inspired me 😀
Here´s a deep dive of the contents of the release:
Scatter, Vehicles and Buildings Tier:
- Italian Sports Car
- 90´s money transport truck (not finished painting yet but it already looks good)
- Money piles / stacks as scatter (still left to render and paint the final bits)
- Cart to transport the money stacks (still left to design)
- Safe as a scatter terrain piece (still left to design)
Miniatures Tier:
2x Sonny Miniatures: A classic Miami Vice version and a more modern version that could work great as an FBI agent!
2x Ricardo Miniatures: A classic MV version and a version that could work great as an gangster / cartel member / henchman! one is armed with an AR-15 and the other one has a super shorty shotgun!2x Gangster Boss: one version is inspired by Pablo escobar wich i found very fitting for the theme and the other mini is „the Don“ in my head 😀 looks like and old italian gansgter, armed with an UZI.
The heads wont be modular on this release, this helped me during the design process 😀
Special Painted Models:
As i wanted to really have this release finished in time i reached out to my friend Bernd and asked him if he would be interested in painting up the minis to showcase you guys a different painting style! I must say that he really nailed the vibe!Go and check out Bernds instagram account for more pictures and other awesome paintjobs!

Extra release info:
I released some generic special forces heads with gas masks today by popular demand 😀
They are live on MMF and fit almost all of my minis and are perfect for kitbashing other minis!
