Das gelände sieht gut aus.
Hm, zumindest die Bäume und vor allem die Fantasy Battlefield Objectives sind „alter Kram“, habe ich seit Jahren bemalt im Einsatz. Der angegebene Maßstab ist jedoch irreführend: gerade die Objectives eignen sich lediglich für den 25-28mm Maßstab! Also eher für D&D-Wizkids-Miniaturen geeignet. Selbst ältere Miniaturen aus der Alten Warhammerwelt wirken dagegen fast schon zu groß. Sind aber schöne Teile für einen eigenen Crawler. 😉
Die Bäume sehen gut aus, kann ich direkt brauchen.
Sind alles repacks wenn ich mich nicht täusche. Die pvc Sachen von mantic sind aber gut. Hab da von dem damaligen vanguard Spiel einiges, etwa daw set oben.
Hügel und Gebäude sind neu
Gut, ich hatte anhand der Set Vorbestellungen 35€ für Hügel und Gebäude geschätzt, sind mit 50 und 20 dann in Summe zwar gleich aber dann doch günstiger und teurer als gedacht.
2 leicht unterschiedliche Hügel für 20€ sind ein super Preis, und günstig genug das man sich auch mehrere für verschiedene Platten herrichten kann
Gebäude für 50€ reihen sich halt bei Battle Systems ein, etwas günstiger dafür auch schlichter (zumindest anhand der Bauanleitung auf der Mantic Seite sind die Teile Doppelseitig bedruckt, also hätte man auch Innenräume wenn man sie braucht)
Die Set Preise lassen sich damit jetzt auch in ein Verhältnis setzen, Schlachtfeld Set für 95€ kostet 160€ einzeln, ~40% Rabatt (ebenso das Bundle mit der Matte).
Auf jeden Fall schon gespannt ob das mit dem Lagern bzw stapeln der Hügel und zerlegen der Gebäude in der Praxis so funktioniert wie gedacht (damit das schlichtere Design auch seine Berechtigung hat)
Painted und unpainted gemischt, aber keine Bilder von den unpainted Produkt, wenn ich etwas kaufe, möchte ich es gern vorher als original sehen und nicht nur den servier Vorschlag.
Ich weiß, das ist eine ewige Diskussion, aber ich finde jetzt 20€ für zwei unbemalte, recht einfache Hügel schon nicht ohne.
Styrodur, Cuttermesser 10 Minuten Arbeit dann ist man schon sehr nah dran.
Prinzipiell gebe ich Dir recht.
Es gibt aber auch Hobbyisten die aus Gründen nicht Basteln wollen oder können. Für die finde ich so einen tiefgezogenen Plastikhügel ganz okay … ist halt letztlich nur etwas stärkeres Joghurtbecherplastik, aber normal hält das schon ein bisschen was aus.
GW hat aus solchem Material mal ihr Kraterset gemacht.
Da ich von der Druckerfraktion bin, würde ich sowas in 10-15min modellieren und dann mit FDM drucken.
Ja, aber rechne mal den Stundenlohn der Leute dagegen. Plus Styrodur- und Cutterpreis. Zack, biste auf nem ähnlichen Preis 🙂
Nicht zu vergessen die anteiligen Kosten für den Tisch auf dem du bastelst und evtl sogar noch einen Stuhl auf dem man sitzt. Wohnfläche, Heizung braucht man ja auch😊.
Aber im Ernst: Wie gesagt, ist eine ewige Diskussion und ich kann auch die Leute verstehen die es kaufen. Gerade wenn man z.B. keinen Baumarkt in der Nähe hat der günstiges Styrodur hat (da gibt’s wirklich krasse Preisunterschiede), ist man wirklich schnell bei dem Preis.
Sind die Hügel tiefgezogen?
Sieht danach aus, mit der schmalen kante unten. Ziemlicher mix wenn man als zusammen holt.
Die Gebäude gefallen mir gar nicht.
An den Stellen an denen man sie zusammensteckt fallen doch schon auf.
Und die Hügel könnten an einer Seite zumindest einen sanften Anstieg haben.
Die gefallen mir aber gut.
Bei den Bäumen – ich mag so knorrige, unrealistische Bäume ohne Blätter nicht. Ob von GW oder Mantic.
Solche Geländematten gibt es schon seit fast 10 Jahren und von mehreren Herstellern. Ich habe welche von Green Stuff World und die passen genauso.
Ich habe mir einen Gruselwald aus diesen Bäumen gestaltet und bin durchaus zufrieden damit. Die Baumstümpfe, Pilze und optionalen Gesichter runden das Set gut ab.
Ich kann mich mit den Pappgebäuden im Fantasybereich nicht anfreunden (Sci Fi geht so 🤔 )
Und die hier finde ich auch nicht schön, da gibt es von anderen Herstellern bessere.
Da würde ich mir von Mantic eher ein System aus Plastikplatten wünschen wie für Warpath. Naja, aber sowas bekommt man ja bei Archon Studios … mittlerweile auch vorbemalt.
Die Bäume würde ich gern mal unbemalt sehen …
