„Our Vault subscribers will continue to receive Sci-Fi models in the monthly packs, and units will appear on the Digital Store to purchase too. In addition, as new releases flow through the MyMiniFactory Tribe, some of those elements will be made available to the Vault via both our Subscription (by adding those releases to your upcoming monthly packs) or via Store listings to purchase with your loyalty discounts.
The Vault already has a wealth of these files available, but there will be new content coming and core plastics converting to STL that will appear on the Tribe, and therefore some of those will find their way into your subscriptions too.
In a nutshell, everything we release via the Firefight™ Tribe will be available at some point via Mantic Digital. Some of the Tribe content is already available on the Vault, and some of it will be included in future monthly packs for Vault subscribers. And anything that isn’t included in the Vault will be made available on the Digital Store for you to purchase using your loyalty discount.“
Dass jetzt auch die Plastikgussrahmen als STLs kommen ist sehr spannend. Öffnet DZ/FF jetzt wirklich einer größeren Kundenschaft. Und es kommt vermutlich noch neues Zeug obendrauf. Bin auf die Orcs richtig gespannt, die als Resin Druck schauen sicher extrem gut aus.
Hat anscheinend mit Epic Warpath gut genug funktioniert das man Plastik und STL Parallel verkauft das man es auch mit FF probiert.
War dann ja auch die Frage ob und wie die neuen Designs der Fahrzeuge aus EWP in FF kommen und eine Veröffentlichung als STL statt in Plastik oder Resin ist wohl die sinnvollste Möglichkeit das zeitnah zu bewerkstelligen.
Die andere Vermutung als der Mule in der Vault verfügbar wurde war ja das Mantic Probleme hat Nachschub für die seinerzeit in China produzierten Plastik Modelle zu bekommen und man sie so verfügbar halten will.
Wird auf jeden Fall noch interessant, vor allem auf der Orc Seite nachdem die Modelle ja von Qualitätsschwankungen beim Hersteller geplagt wurden was die STLs ja nicht betrifft.
Während man die Enforcer dann auch größer drucken kann nachdem diese ja eher Richtung 28mm true scale gehen (also seinerzeit auch eine gute Grundlage für TrueScale Space Marines waren) aber jetzt schon fast zu zierliche sind nachdem alles andere in den 10 Jahren deutlich größer geworden ist.
