Kings of War: Forces of Nature
Mantic Games haben die Forces of Nature vorgestellt.
Forces of Nature Ydrin Thorncreeper – €15.00
Despite the fact he is arrogant, cocky, and brash, it has done little to stop Ydrin’s rise through the ranks of the Green Lady’s most trusted fighters. In fact, it is rumoured that the Green Lady herself gave Ydrin the blade he carries into battle. A rumour that some believe Ydrin started…
Ydrin was placed in charge of defending the eastern borders of the Forest of Galahir. Accompanied by a small band of fellow fawns, Ydrin made great use of hit and run tactics against those that dare tread too close to the hallowed forest. Ydrin’s allies use the trees and bushes to stalk their enemy in secret until they’re ready to strike. He is ruthless in his protection of the forest – desperate to prove his worth to the Green Lady – and no invaders are spared.
Ydrin has recently been entrusted with a small company of centaurs and tribal warriors. He has been tasked with travelling to Basilea, after reports the Forces of the Abyss are massing troops in the Samarite Mountains. A quest that, if successful, he hopes will prove his skill to the Green Lady.
Forces of Nature Avatar of the Green Lady – €30.00
The Green Lady has sworn to never bring the full might of her powers to bear again, ever since the Battle of Madness during the God Wars.
As such, she sends her Avatar in her stead, a living embodiment blessed with a token of her power and authority. Even with this small touch of divinity, this avatar is a terror for her enemies to behold, for it can summon the very plants of the earth to rise up at her command and smother her foe, or drain their life energies down into the earth.
Forces of Nature Avatar of the Father – €30.00
Ever since he lost the first duel with his darker half, a type of dread has grown within Brave Kyron of what will happen the next time they meet.
In preparation, he has started to create bestial adaptations of himself, sending them out into the world to be tested. The more successful ones are granted the title of Avatar and are seen as gifts from Kyron himself to aid his children in their battles. Thus, the Avatars of the Father stride across the battlefield, majestic and awe-inspiring as they march to the fight.
Forces of Nature Tribal Warriors Regiment – €40.00
Tribal Warriors are the name given to those within the ferauns who march to battle in the armies of the Green Lady.
Armed with weapons they have scavenged or crafted and clad in armour of lacquered bark, these primitive fighters charge from the forests to meet their foes.
NOTE: This hard plastic kit can build a regiment (or two troops) of Tribal Warriors with hand weapons or spears, or of Tribal Hunters with slings.
Forces of Nature Centaur Regiment – €45.00
The Centaurs are strange amalgamations of beastman and horse, cousins of a sort to the smaller ferauns.
They use their bows to harass the flanks of the enemy before charging in to finish them with crude halberds and mauls crafted from the raw components of the forest. Many an unsuspecting enemy has paid for not giving their furious assaults the respect that they are due.
NOTE: This hard plastic kit can build a regiment of either Bray Striders or Bray Hunters.
Forces of Nature Guardian Brutes Troop – €47.50
Originally mortals twisted into bestial forms, creatures like the mighty minotaurs were rescued from their fate by Brave Kyron.
They now live within the deep forests of the world, alongside their brethren of The Herd. When the call of the Lady sounds through the boughs, these lumbering creatures are led by the ferauns to war; the Guardian Brutes eager to defend their smaller cousins on the battlefield.
Contents:
- 2 x Minotaurs (Resin)
- 1 x Feraun Rider (Resin)
- 10 x Tribal Warriors (Hard Plastic)
- Unit Base
Forces of Nature Hero Pack – €47.50
An army is nothing without someone to lead it, and even the seemingly unruly forces of nature have those who guide their paths.
Tribal Chieftains guide the multitudes of Kyron’s Herd to war, while the graceful Songweavers inspire warriors to greater feats of heroism as they remind their pack mates of the mighty deeds of the Father. Druids are the lynchpin of the Forces of Nature, adopted children of the forest with a strong affinity for elemental magic.
Contents:
- 1 x Tribal Chieftain (Resin)
- 1 x Centaur Chieftain (Resin)
- 1 x Tribal Songweaver (Resin)
- 1 x Druid (Resin)
- Unit Bases
Forces of Nature Gladewalker Druid – €15.00
Gladewalker druids are those who have started to leave their humanity behind, embracing the same savage way of life enjoyed by the beasts of the groves and streams.
Thus, their affinity to the Lady’s magics is stronger, their connection to her easier to trace. However, in doing so they must sacrifice what makes them human, elf…or other. While a small price in their eyes, their steady transformation is a deeply unsettling sight to any who might be uninitiated to the ways of the forest.
Contents:
- 1 x Gladewalker Druid (Resin)
- 1 x Unit Base
Forces of Nature Centaur Chief – €18.00
Centaur Chiefs are mystical and intelligent creatures, as well as veteran warriors.
In times of peace they are often found far abroad of the Lady’s forces, acting as envoys and messengers. Their wise and measured demeanour is shed quickly on the battlefield however, as they lead other Centaurs in a thundering stampede, rushing ahead so as to be the first to meet the foe.
Forces of Nature Tribal Songweaver – €15.00
The Songweavers are the spiritual heart of The Herd, singing of Brave Kyron and their history so that it may never be forgotten.
Stories and songs are shared freely with all of their brethren they encounter, for such knowledge is sacred to the children of Kyron. In battle, their voices are raised yet higher, reminding The Herd of Kyron’s deeds and sacrifices, inspiring them to do the same in his honour.
Forces of Nature Tribal Chieftain – €15.00
The biggest of the ferauns are known as Longhorns and typically become the leaders and best warriors amongst the tribes.
These chieftains are the most skilled of their kind in combat, and know that it is better to harness the savage nature of their kin, than to try and restrain it in battle. So, the chieftains direct their warriors to the areas of the battlefield best suited to their bestial fury, filling the air with the thundering of massed hooves.
Forces of Nature Beast of Nature – €42.50
The beast of nature is a merging of two elemental creatures, an ancient tree shambler and an air elemental.
This symbiotic relationship appears to favour both equally: each lending their attributes to the other to form an unlikely unification. Usually found rooted in slumber deep in the forest, they have, on rare occasions, been sighted flying into battle, presumably utilising the abilities of the air elemental. Such bizarre entities can be ferocious in a fight, becoming all the more savage as they near death.
Note: this miniature can be assembled with or without wings.

Mal schauen, mal schauen.
