Infinity: THE MONDAY SIGNAL Wrap-Up: By the Numbers

For four weeks, players from around the world have chased The Monday Signal. Frankly speaking, the signal was far louder than we ever anticipated!

With all four missions now complete, the campaign has officially closed with 1185 reported games, representing an incredible level of excitement and participation the world over. From clandestine raids to dangerous data retrieval missions and the final scramble beneath the sleeping Megabeast, commanders across the Human Sphere answered Ruby Monday’s cryptic call in force.

As always, the numbers tell an interesting story.

The clearest headline is one that should surprise no one paying close attention: Nomads dominated the campaign through sheer participation. With 399 games played and 195.5 total victory points (counting wins as 1 point and draws as 0.5 points), Nomads have firmly established themselves as the faction with the strongest overall campaign presence from the very beginning. Simply put, no faction showed up in greater numbers.

But participation alone doesn’t tell the whole story.

Even though Nomads won the campaign by volume, coming in second was ALEPH; leading the way in sheer efficiency. Thematic right?

Despite playing 124 fewer games than Nomads, ALEPH has accumulated 167 victory points, trailing the Nomads by just 28.5 points. Even more impressive is ALEPH’s campaign win rate of 60.7%, the highest of any major faction by a significant margin. Across all four missions, ALEPH consistently posted some of the strongest results in the campaign, proving that while fewer ALEPH commanders joined the fight, those who did came more than prepared.

That makes ALEPH arguably the most dangerous faction in The Monday Signal, even if they were not able to secure the prize in the end. No doubt distracted by the events of Operation Mazebreaker.

Sitting just behind these two heavyweights is a faction that has quietly remained one of the most consistent performers throughout the campaign: Combined Army.

With 317 games played and 165.5 victory points, Combined Army has maintained pressure from start to finish. They may not have dominated any single week the way Nomads or ALEPH have, but their consistency across all four missions has kept them firmly in the top tier. Week after week, Combined Army has remained in striking distance of the campaign lead.

Taken as a whole, the campaign has developed into a fascinating three-way race.

Nomads led through overwhelming participation and total victories. ALEPH boasts the strongest performance rate in the campaign (winning Missions 2 and 3 individually). The Combined Army continued to threaten both until the bitter end through consistency and strong week-to-week results.

Three factions, each with very different paths to success.

Outside the top three, several factions deserve recognition for standout performances.

PanOceania remains one of the most popular factions in the campaign with 297 games played, though their overall performance has been more mixed. Still, PanO commanders showed steady improvement as the campaign progressed, finishing stronger than they started.

Meanwhile, Haqqislam quietly delivered one of the best performances among the mid-tier factions. With a 53.8% win rate, Haqq proved both reliable and dangerous despite lower overall representation.

And then there’s Tohaa. With only 60 games played, Tohaa remains one of the least represented factions in the campaign; but their 55.8% win rate makes them the second most efficient performers. While their smaller player count keeps them out of the broader leaderboard conversation, the message is clear: when Tohaa players show up, they win.

It was a tense fight from the very beginning. That tension has become one of the most exciting parts of The Monday Signal. The campaign isn’t just telling Ruby Monday’s story anymore… it’s telling the story of each faction fighting through her chaos.

Infinity Mazebreaker Bundle

As promised, with each mission came the possibility to win your very own Operation Mazebreaker bundle. The creators responsible were asked to pick a game number and player A of B.  Congratulations to the winners!

Loss of Lieutenant: Emilio T. (Florida, USA)
Robert Shepard: Stephen W. (Germany)
Metachemistry: Alex B. (Kentucky, USA)
WIP12: Edgar (Spain)

The signal may have started with Ruby, but now it belongs to all of you.
Once more we wanted to give a huge thank you to all of the creators and team involved in this project. In addition to those listed above, a massive thank you to:

3d63 for audio work and music
InfinityGeist for hosting the missions
Tom S. for the voice of Investigator Halden
Tabitha M. for the voice of the one and only Ruby Monday herself

Now only Two questions remain… What was Ruby’s treasure and where did it end up? We know the Nomads made off with the trio of small devices, but that is not the whole tale.  With the facts straight and the players’ voices heard, it’s time for us to get writing.

Stay tuned for a short fiction in July and as Ruby would say…

“See you around, Hunters.”
