New Weaver Courts Teaser!
Greetings, Conquerors!
We wanted to reach out to you now, two weeks after the most comprehensive balance patch we have ever released, to discuss our upcoming plans for our newest faction: The Weaver Courts.
The community response has been incredible, and we’ve received a great deal of feedback—both positive and highlighting areas where we can improve. While we truly appreciate the praise, we are equally focused on addressing the aspects that fell short. In fact, that’s exactly what we want to talk about today: upcoming changes to the Weaver Courts army.
Over the next few weeks, we will be sharing teases and previews of what’s to come. Before that, however, we’d like to give you a broad overview of our vision—our “master plan,” if you will.
It can be summed up quite simply: more with less.We like the seasonal mechanics, and we like the Seed system, but we’ve come to understand that they are currently too cumbersome and demand more bookkeeping than their impact justifies. Our goal is to retain these mechanics in a streamlined form—one that gives players greater agency and power while requiring fewer hoops to jump through.
With increased control over seasonal mechanics and more impactful Seeds and Blooms, we want players to make meaningful choices when building their armies. Will you specialize in one or two seasons and dominate with focused synergy? Or will you mix and match for greater versatility?
To support this, many troop types will receive new seasonal interactions that reward them for using their defining abilities during the appropriate season. This creates an interesting dilemma: do you limit yourself to a few seasons for tighter, more efficient gameplay, or expand your selection for broader flexibility and power?
We’ll let you decide as we gradually reveal more of our plans for the Weaver Courts in the coming weeks.
In the meantime, we’ll leave you with a small teaser—something you haven’t seen or heard of before:
