Deep in the northern reaches of the Faerann there is a land of perpetual cold and hunger. The Gemred Knights patrol its borders and prevent any of the hungering creatures that call that desolate land home from preying on their southern kin. The bravest amongst their number venture into these lands alone, culling these threats before they even make it to the border. And the greatest among those who venture return with a Lindworm, the most terrifying predator in the north, as their mount. These acts of bravery do not go unnoticed in the Court of Winter, where Mab ensures the swift rise of the Gemred in question to the rank of Lord.

How They Play

This Founders Exclusive is a visual representation of the Winter’s Bite upgrade, which grants a Court of Winter the Cavalry Type, adds +2 to its Wounds Characteristic and gains the Impact (4), Brutal Impact (2), Hardened (1) and Trample (2) Special Rules. This makes them ideal to join Gemred Knights, but can also be used to enhance the output of Fianna Cavalry or the upcoming Wyrd Knights!

This is a numbered edition, Founder’s Exclusive. Once the edition of 1090 units has sold out, it will not be issued again in any other form.

How They Play

The Weaver Courts are our unique take on the archetype of the elusive, ranged skirmisher. Unlike traditional ranged units, members of this faction don’t rely solely on firepower to claim victory—instead, they introduce an entirely new combo-building dynamic to the game. For the Weaver Courts, ranged attacks aren’t their primary source of damage. Instead, they serve as powerful enablers, applying statuses to enemy regiments while fast-moving melee allies close in to exploit their foes’ misfortune and complete the combo. Like the planting of a seed, Weaver regiments apply a universal Mark that—depending on Faction Rules, Supremacies, or Spells—can grow into a variety of effects. Plan your round carefully—your strategy has the potential to blossom into success or wither away in failure!

How They Play

First Blood How They Play:

Hurling masses of earth and stone, the Gallowglass Wardens wreak havoc upon the battlefield. The impacts of their onslaught sprout with verdant growth, watered by the blood of all those crushed by these devastating brutes.

TLAOK How They Play:

While their Warrior brethren focus on consuming Seeds to empower themselves, the Wardens reach deep into the earth with their tendrils, hurling stone and soil into enemy formations. In doing so, they not only damage their foes but also create fertile ground where more Seeds can be sown, bloom and made use of.

Born in the earliest times of Weaver culture, Gallowglass Warriors are a rarity among Weaver forces as lifeforms elevated and awakened through Lifebinding. Their purpose, since time immemorial, has been singular: delivering relentless violence against the enemy. Born in the bloody civil war that rent the Weaver forces following the Schism, Gallowglass Warriors exist only to deliver bloodshed and mayhem in the battlefield, a role they have bonded and bred for millenia.

How They Play

First Blood How They Play:

These beetle-like behemoths surge into the enemy, forming the chitinous spearhead of a Weaver Court’s Warband. Their thick iridescent carapaces turn aside enemy blows, while they use their immense size and strength to pulverise all those who stand in their way.

TLAOK How They Play:

Steadfast and powerful, like the beings upon which their form was based, the Gallowglass Warriors fearlessly stand toe-to-toe with even the most formidable enemies. Greatly synergizing with—and benefiting from—the rest of the army’s Seed planting, the Gallowglass can consume Seeds on the go to amplify their power, reaching incredible levels of brute strength.
