A delirious warband of 16-models on 32mm scale, available as physical minis and pre-supported STL files.

 

Grimdark Covenant is an independent creative studio led by Miguel G. Cebrian (Concept Artist from the games industry), joined by Maximiliano Nahuel Espinelli (veteran miniature sculptor) and Vicent Ramírez-Luzón (over a decade of experience delivering successful crowdfunding campaigns). Together, we bring Carnival of Saints to life: a miniature range inspired by the contrast between vibrant colors and grimdark aesthetics, religious celebration, theatrical excess and delightfully twisted storytelling.

The Carnival of Saints is a completely new homebrew trench warfare warband.

Digital Homebrew Warband Book: Our warband book to dive in the lore of the Carnival of Saints. Built with full-color illustrations and complemented with our own homebrew rules.

Warband sketch: A unique handmade sketch, signed by the artist and presented with a protective backing board. Carefully packaged and ready to frame.

Set of art postcards: A collection of three premium art postcards featuring original artwork from The Carnival of Saints, printed on high-quality cardstock.

Design a miniature: Collaborate with the team to create and name a unique Jester Knight mercenary and become part of The Carnival of Saints. Your character will be sculpted and delivered as both an STL file and a physical miniature.

The Art of Grimdark Covenant:

We believe that creating art is an essential part of the human condition.

We do not use generative AI in any part of our process. Not for concepts, not for textures, not for ideation. Every detail was made by a human being who made a choice about it. We believe this matters – both for the integrity of the work, and for the people who will pour their heart painting these minis we loved making.

Our Process:

We start every character with freehand sketches on paper, gathering references and writting exciting lore. Then sculpt, iterate, test print and iterate again. This is where the Carnival of Saints actually lives: in the first rough line that captures something true about a jester who has survived forty days of holy war and come out the other side with a wicked smile.

Fulfillment & Delivery:

After the campaign ends, backers will be asked to complete their information through the Kickstarter Pledge Manager.

All STL files will be delivered through MyMiniFactory.

Shipping costs for physical rewards will be charged after the campaign and will vary depending on the destination country.

We currently expect physical fulfilment and shipping to begin in November 2026.
