Some of the very best troops available to Italian commanders were the Paracadutisti – the airborne forces of the Regio Esercito.
This box contains 30 infantry models in M41 paratrooper uniforms, allowing you to build a huge variety of Paracadutisti infantry units and weapons teams. On each sprue you’ll find a host of weaponry, from the ubiquitous short Carcano rifle to the much-loved Beretta Model 38 submachine gun and unique Lanciafiamme 41 d’assalto compact flamethrower. There’s also a plethora of additional equipment, including improvised anti-tank grenades and the iconic paratrooper webbing and vests.
As if that wasn’t enough, there’s also a full set of extra heads in berets, allowing you to build the fearsome X Arditi special forces troops!

Oh Gott sind das wieder hässliche Figuren. Wie kann sich diese Firma überhaupt so lange auf dem Markt halten? Es kann nur an Marketing liegen.

Ich finde die Minis zb echt cool!
Mich würde es auch interessieren, was dir daran nicht gefällt? Liegt es daran, dass die Modelle nicht künstlich überladen sind, wie von GW oder liegt es daran, dass dir das realistische Setting nicht zu sagt?
Ich gebe ShinSon recht, dass du nur provozieren möchtest. Sagt doch bei deiner Aussage zumindest was dein Problem ist.
Zudem macht Warlord Games eine super Arbeit, gerade was Ihre Spielsysteme betrifft.
Auch wenn ich nicht für Bommel sprechen kann: Die Modelle sind schon seehr knubbelig und die Gesichter sind auch nicht auf dem Niveau, das man von anderen zeitgenössischen Herstellern kennt.
Das ist natürlich persönliche Präferenz, bei Frostgrave stört es mich zB nicht so sehr, wenn die Figuren „oldschool“ sind.
Warlord Games können ja auch schickere Figuren, z.B. die neueren GIs oder die Sonderfigur zu dem Scharfschützen aus Enemy at the Gates
Naja, so ein klassisches Warlord-Ding halt: ja, Paracadutisti trugen weite Hosen und Jacken. Aber bei den Modellen wirkt es so, als würden sie die auch komplett ausfüllen. Das wirkt alles sehr klobig, comichaft, ein bisschen, als hätte wer die Bilder versehentlich breit gezogen.
@Gregor: Das beschreibt es ganz treffend, danke dir!
Würde hier Gregor Recht geben. Vergleicht man die Minis mit dem Bild aus dem Buch, sehen sie gerade bei den Hosen und Ärmeln doch sehr knubbelig aus. Ein paar senkrechte Falten hätten hier sicher helfen können und würden auch die Oberfläche mehr aufbrechen. Vielleicht hilft es wenn man stärker schattiert.
Ich habe in der letzten Edition von Bolt Action Italiener gesammelt und gespielt.
Die neue Kunststoffbox der Fallschirmjäger gefällt mir nun wirklich gut. Das gäbe nun ein bis zwei Platoons, die ich bislang nicht habe. Vielleicht hole ich mir die Box und auch das Buch und schau bei Bolt Action vielleicht auch mal wieder rein.
Freut mich, dass Italien dieses Mal sogar ein eigenes Buch bekommt. Ich muss mich dringend an mein Bersaglieri ransetzen.
Die neuen Modelle sind eine gute Ergänzung, vor allem, wenn man auch X Arditi oder Pioniere draus bauen kann.
Bin mal gespannt, was das dann für die anderen „kleineren“ Fraktionen in Bolt Action bedeutet.
