At last, the most awaited moment of the month is here: all renders are finished, and it is finally time for the trailer!

After so many years, it was a real pleasure to work on a full crew of corsairs, a theme I already know I will want to expand in the future. This first Coast Reavers kit takes us across the seas of Mundus with a crew of multipart fighters armed with all the tools of piracy: flintlocks, cutlasses, hooks, axes, daggers, and even iron weights chained for brutal boarding combat.

And of course, this set works just as well on land. These lads would never refuse the chance to ambush a caravan carrying rich treasure.

From the very beginning, I knew one of the heroes had to be an old veteran obsessed with black powder. I wanted him loaded with medals, strange gadgets, powder flasks, and explosives. That is how Old Garrick Brimstone was born, though at first he was meant to be just a simple quartermaster.

Then there is Captain Maul.

Since day one, I wanted to sculpt a shark-like pirate captain, and the idea of naming him Maul and giving him the features of a hammerhead shark was too tempting to ignore. In his youth, he was forced to fight as a slave in the pits. Now, as captain of his own corsair ship, he roams the seas hunting slavers, freeing the oppressed, and offering them a place among his crew.

For the Epic Boss, the choice was immediate: a Kraken.

In my mind, this beast is no mere monster, but an ally of Maul. Long ago, when it was still young, Maul freed it from the grasp of a rival pirate crew. Since that day, the creature has followed his ship through the seas, guarding the crew with fierce loyalty.

The Deepmaw Kraken is perfect as a boss for any RPG encounter, and it also comes with two extra tentacles mounted on separate bases, allowing you to place them anywhere on the battlefield, or print as many as you want.

This has without a doubt been a very difficult month, but I am extremely happy with the sculpts. I cannot wait to see your prints and paintjobs.
