Death Kiwi Pack (3) – 53,95€

„It is said that in the sweltering jungles of the south, behind each tree there is something that could kill you. The affectionately nick-named “Death Kiwis” are no exception. Lightning fast, equipped with razor sharp claws and a crushing, serrated beak, these flightless birds are in the higher echelons of the jungle food chain. Hunting in large packs, Death Kiwis can chase down and kill prey many times larger than themselves, using their beaks to tear flesh and crush bone.

At the head of every Death Kiwi pack is the Alpha, a creature much larger in size and more ferocious than the rest. Growing almost twice as big as a normal Kiwi, a lone Alpha is a formidable foe. However, with a pack of ravenous Death Kiwis alongside them, they are even more of a force to be reckoned with.

Some Gremlin hosts burrow into the southern jungles to find Kiwi packs, stealing eggs or young and raising them as beasts of war. Some of these captured creatures have escaped into Mildaark Forest, and there have been sightings of Death Kiwi packs hunting as far north as Hobbleshire.“

„The teeming masses of Gremlins make up the bulk of a Gremlin warband, compensating for their lack of size, strength, and fighting skill with enthusiasm and sheer force of numbers. They hide their faces behind masks, often daubed with magical paints that react to the emotions of the wearer.

„Usually never far from the Great Gremlin’s side is the clan’s Shaman. Every clan has at least one of these strange fellows, who act as advisors and spiritual guides to the leader.

Regarded with suspicion and fear by the rest of the clan, Shamans spend most of their time-consuming noxious herbs and fungi to help with their prophetic visions. When the clan goes to battle, the Shamans adorn themselves in their finest clobber and provide a potent magical support to the attack.“

Jungle Troll – 46,95€

„Normally found throughout the lush southern rainforests, Jungle Trolls were brought to Upper ArcWorlde by Gremlin hosts, most likely as protection from the native Troll populations. Surprisingly, Jungle Trolls have adapted well to these new habitats, though they are mainly kept as pets by the Gremlins rather than venturing out into the wilderness themselves.

Their long, claw-tipped arms allow them to swing their massive bulk nimbly through the trees, as well as grasping and slashing any who dare come close. Naturally milder mannered than their northern cousins, they can be roused to a terrifying anger by the jabbing spears of their Gremlin handlers.“
