Uff … Mal eben doppelt so teuer wie ein Hardcover-Regelbuch von Orsprey.
Passe …
So ganz stimmt der Vergleich nicht. Es ist wesentlich dicker als die meisten Osprey Hardcover Bücher. Am ehesten kann man es noch vom Umfang her mit Realities Edge von Osprey vergleichen da gleicher Autor und damit auch ähnlicher Umfang und Aufbau. Das liegt meine ich schon mal bei 30€ und damit ist das hier nicht mal eben doppelt so teuer. Selbst Softcover Bücher von Osprey kosten inzwischen bis zu 26 €.
Wenn ich es richtig gesehen habe sind hier im Buch aber auch noch viele Ergänzungen zur ersten Edition drin.
Billig ist es nicht, aber noch in einem realistischen Rahmen. Ich hoffe, dass es in Zukunft irgendwann einmal einen besseren Vertrieb in Europa geben wird. Zoll und Porto kommen ja auch noch drauf.
Laut deren Website haben BSS einen Vertriebspartner in DE. Der ist aber nur für Wiederverkäufer.
Ich bin auch enorm angefixt (das schon sehr lange) und hoffe auf baldige Verfügbarkeit für Endkunden.
Ich habe das Buch nicht, aber laut meiner Quelle hat TNT 172 Seiten. Realitie’s Edge hat 320.
Vergleichbar ist TNT dann eher mit den üblichen Osprey-Hardcovern, wie z. B.: Land of the Free (192), The doomed (176) oder Across a Deadly Field (145) und da ist der Preis tatsächlich eher doppelt so hoch.
Die zweite Edition hat 240 Seiten und im Preis inbegriffen ist noch die PDF. Die kostet bei Osprey ja auch immmer noch ein paar Euro.
Ich weiß nicht welches Format das Buch hat. Die Osprey Bücher sind ja nicht DinA4, sondern ein bisschen kleiner.
Deswegen mein Hinweis. Am Ende kriegt man schon viel Spiel für sein Geld.
Ich hab die erste Edition digital hier und freu mich einfach wahnsinnig, dass es mit dem System weiter geht.
240 sind immer noch 80 unter RE und deutlich näher an den 192 von Land of the Free. Das bekommst du für knapp 25 Euro.
Und man kann aber zumindest drüber streiten, ob das so sinnvoll ist. Das PDF oben drauf kostet dem Anbieter ja nicht mehr viel. Beim PDF ist der Inhalt deutlich teurer im Verhältnis zum Material und den habe ich dann eh schon gekauft, an mich wird er das also nicht nochmal so einfach verkaufen können. Als Bonus nett, aber jetzt auch kein Argument, dass den hohen Preis erklärt. Zumal, wenn dem so wäre, könnte man ja auch nur das Buch für einen günstigeren Preis anbieten, scheint hier aber nicht der Fall – also nicht gewollt – zu sein.
Das große Problem, was ich bei solchen Preisen aber sehe, ist, dass das eben den Kauf hemmt. Wenn ich ein Regelwerk für die Post-Apokalypse suche, warum sollte ich dann die 52 Euro bezahlen, wenn ich das Setting auch für 10 Euro bespielen kann?
Klar, TNT ist toll, aber das sind andere Regelwerke eben auch. In der ersten Edition lag TNT ja schon nicht im Unternehmen Preisband, das konnte man aber noch gut mitnehmen. Aber jetzt? Ein Regelwerk jenseits der 50 Euro? Mag es ja wert sein, da ist die Konkurrenz aber echt zu groß.
Das PDF ist beim Hardcoverbuch auch dabei, das finde ich sehr löblich.
hab mir TNT mal als Alternative zu Fallout Wasteland Warfare geholt, als mir dieses zu unübersichtlich wurde mit den Karten und den waves und so. hab der veröffentlichung der 2. edition schon entgegengefiebert. Aber mit der Meldung, dass nächstes jahr eine neue fallout edition mit mehr fokus auf soloplay und narrativer Spielweise kommen soll, werde ich mal beobachten, wie diese hier ankommt und ob ich einfach bis nächstes jahr warte.
Alternativ kann man sich auch mal Punkapocalyptic anschauen.
