Also die Sachen sind allesamt wahnsinnig gut. Der Vogel kommt zu mir. Keine Ahnung für was, aber er kommt.

Der Vogel ist ganz cool, aber der Übergang zwischen Oberkörper und den Gewändern ist irgendwie…komisch…zu unproportional. Mit einem massiven robenartigen Unterkörper hätte man die „Geisterhaftigkeit“ auch darstellen können, aber es wäre nicht so ein krasses Missverhältnis – so wie beim „Bad Omen“-Modell für Malifaux hätte es ziemlich gut ausgesehen.
Ist trotzdem eines der besseren Conquest-Modelle…
Der Vogelmann ist echt spannend. Gerade das Flügel-„Meer“ im Blick von schäg-vorne.
Ähnlich wie meinem Vorredner fallen mir aber auch der „fehlende“ Unterkörper bzw. Beine negativ auf. Im Grunde kann man sowas schon machen, aber lieber interessanter als bloßes Ausbleiben. Mehr Stoff bräuchte ich da gar nicht – der Kontrast ist mMn ganz gut. Nur auf den Bildern wirkt es einfach wie zwei „Situationen“ die ohne Bezug oder Vermittlung neben einander platziert sind. Da wäre ein auch ausgeführter Übergang schön nicht bloß Kaschieren durch „Kleidung“. Da darf es ruhig wabern, dürfen „Löcher“ auftauchen und Übergänge zwischen vermeintlichen physischen Dingen verwischen. Das würde der Figur in meinen Augen deutlich aufwerten.
Die Seepferdchen – eher riesige Pferde wie es scheint! – finde ich schön. Die Reiter finde ich etwas langweilig. Hätte man deutlich interessanter designen können – Ausstattung wie auch Posen. Und die Wassereffekte wirken leider nicht so überzeugend auf mich.
