Genya no Yokai walks the path of the Ayakashi, and the world itself shudders at their step. Lacking the refinement of their counterparts, these feral behemoths make up for it in sheer power. Twisting the power and enlightenment to their own selfish needs, these raging colossi are capable of drawing all forms of energy and enlightenment into themselves, feeding their bottomless hunger and rage, making them terrifying foes who know no mercy, no weakness and offer no respite to their beleaguered foes.  Greatest among the Yoroni are those who seek to emulate the path of Shuten-doji, the first of their path to walk and master the path of Enlightenment. Each of these brave souls must walk the path of the realms twice, once as a Bushi, seeking enlightenment from the noble ideas of their Path, and another as an Ayakashi, seeking enlightenment through self gratification. While none have yet managed to replicate this legendary achievement, many of the greatest among the Yoroni continue to try this lonely path. Their forms have swelled to accommodate the power their enlightenment affords them even as their corruption and impurities slowly seep from their bodies, further perfecting them as they walk the path towards ultimate enlightenment.

How they play:

The feral Genya no Yokai, unlike the Dai, draws power from all Ideal Types slowly getting more and more enraged and powerful as more Ideal Type effects are applied to it. Ideal for players who are looking into building Yoroni Army Lists with multiple Ideal Types, the Genya no Yokai makes the most out of Ideal Cards as their effects are not lost at the end of the Round, instead they keep piling up! This monster can play with any of the 5 Ideal Card types. The player selects the Ideal Card that they will use in the game in the beginning from the 5 options. Dual Kit Monster – can also build the Dai.

Dai Yokai (Dual Kit) – Yoroni – € 129.99

Dai Yokai are those currently walking the path of the Bushi and their martial prowess and expertise know no match. Masters of the blade and confident in their own power these enlightened paragons have been known to bring down fortress walls with a single perfect strike. Slicing through the mortal flesh of their foes is no challenge at all for these roving calamities. Greatest among the Yoroni are those who seek to emulate the path of Shuten-doji, the first of their path to walk and master the path of Enlightenment. How they play:

An amalgamation of all Ideal types, the Dai Yokai is a monstrous master swordsman and duelist effortlessly moving through the battlefield while cutting down enemy regiments in its path. It only takes a split second before its sword is unsheathed and a path of fallen enemies has opened. This monster can play with any of the 5 Ideal Card types. The player selects the Ideal Card that they will use in the game in the beginning from the 5 options. Dual Kit Monster – can also build the Genya No.

Pteraphon – Spires – € 129.99

One of the earliest and most successful applications of Biomancy to the art of War, the Pteraphon were originally developed by the Spires as dragon slayers. The folly of their efforts was revealed when the Elder Dragons awoke and put their efforts to shame, but the Directorate was never known for wasting resources. Refining their efforts they repurposed the suit by eliminating most of its nervous system and turning it instead into a symbiotic „suit“ that grants is wearer the power of flight and enhanced senses. Of course the added neural burden of the alien musculature and sensory organs requires unsafe levels of synaptic enhancers which almost invariably leave their unfortunate pilot hosts as wretched, addicted souls. Despite this many consider this a worthy price to pay for the glory of flight and viewpoint of a god. While the bulk and offensive power of the original design was pared down, they were originally designed to combat dragons and as such remain a terrifying weapon of war against all mortal enemies.

How they Play:

As an aerial observer and ranged support unit, the Pteraphon significantly enhances the Spire player’s battlefield awareness. Whether by launching volleys at vulnerable targets deep behind enemy lines or by marking enemy regiments to expose their positions, the Pteraphon serves as your „eye in the sky!“
