The Yoroni are the returned spirits of the legions of the War of Hosts, primordial shards of Creation and Destruction that fought for supremacy under the Four Horsemen, near the dawn of this cosmos of Balance. At the end of the War of Hosts, when the Dragons defeated the Four Horsemen, the foot soldiers of this conflict, humble shards and motes of Primordial Creation and Destruction, were gathered up and cast into the Elemental Cores of Balance, in the hopes that the overwhelming environment would change them or break them down. There, they endured millennia untold, the inimical forces slowly grinding away their power and very personae. This changed a few millennia after the dawn of mankind, when an isolated tribe developed a unique philosophy and began worshiping balance and its constituent parts: the elements and the Void, birthplace of primordials. Given the nature of belief, these prayers slowly found their way to their Ideals, the depths of the Elemental Domains where the primordial spirits first perceived them.
Through these prayers, a path was created, ephemeral and elusive, proving almost impossible to climb. It took centuries of effort, pain and dejection before the first of the spirits was able to climb the first step of this path by aligning with the beliefs and philosophies that constituted it. In time, that demon prince paved the way for its peers to follow and the simple stairs became an impossible pagoda, the pilgrimage of thousands of spirits making it stretch to impossible dimensions, starting from the depths of the Elemental domains and piercing them all; but it could not pierce through to the Prime and the mortal world came to symbolize ascension, enlightenment and freedom. So, the spirits endured, their ceaseless toil and discipline making the Pagoda a world onto itself, contained within the bowels of Balance, but apart. A place where they could learn, refine and uplift themselves through meditation, discipline and devotion.
But now something has changed. The Mantle that separates the Prime from the Elements was weakened and in that weakness it became vulnerable. Countless eons of significance and devotion have granted the pagoda such a powerful presence that in this ripple of the Veil, its highest layers now escape the elemental bowels of Balance and allow the most enlightened to step through into their long promised heaven.
How They Play
Yoroni are your good-old elite brawler army ready to take any enemy head-on and survive the onslaught! However, they are not without their tricks – bringing two entirely new Faction Rule concepts to the game!
Each Yoroni Character or Regiment belongs to one of five Types and brings an Ideal Card of that Type in the game. ANY Ideal Card however, can be used to Activate ANY Regiment or Character in the game. Should an Ideal Card Activate a Regiment of the same type it also bestows additional abilities to it! Don’t be fooled! Although you can Activate everything with any Ideal Card – sequencing is important as only Regiments of the same Type benefit from the card’s effects. Choose the sequence of Activations very carefully as these effects are the difference between winning and losing the game!
Army List building works a bit differently as well! Yoroni also introduce the concept of Modular Regiments to Conquest TLAOK. When creating a Modular Regiment pick any Stands from the list in any combination as long as you define one as the Regiment’s Leader and at least half of the Stands are the same as the Leader Stand.

GW hat nichts vergleichbares im Angebot. Mit wenigen Ausnahmen sind AoS und 40k Armeen auf voller Spielgröße weit teurer.
Äpfel und Birnen, kommt auf die Armee an.
Um bei der Oma Analogie von gestern zu bleiben, beide Hersteller sind wohl nicht geeignet für das Geschenk unterm Weihnachtsbaum.
Aber das ist Lego auch kaum noch.
Hier wird mittlerweile ein finanziell solventes Publikum bedient.
Wohingegen GE mit Spielen wie Kill Team und Bloodbowl immerhin noch einige Systeme hat die preislich nicht völlig ausufern und mit den Combat Patrol Boxen zumindest anfüttert.
Das ist schon ein geiles Volk, da gefällt mir echt jedes Modell. Auch krass wie viele verschiedene Einheiten PBG denen spendiert hat. Wobei ich in einer „Armee“ eher ein paar doppelte Einheiten bevorzugen würde.
500€ sind natürlich gesalzen, aber beim Durchzählen machen die schon Sinn (grob ein Fuffi für 3 Conquest Oger sind schon i.O.). Im Vergleich mit GW auch gar nicht so schlecht, wenn man beispielsweise 2,5 Weihnachtsboxen oder Ähnliches daneben stellt.
Für Conquest fast schon unüblich ist der Paintjob der „Japano-Dämonen-Armee“ mal echt gelungen. 500 Euro für eine komplette Armee ist natürlich gesalzen (und ich glaube die letzte Runde der 2000 Punkte Boxen lag noch bei 400 Euro). Hier kommt noch etwas erschwerend hinzu, dass das alles Großmodelle sind und somit die gefühlte Masse an Fußtruppen fehlt.
Da kommen noch doch die Shikigami, das ist dann die Massentruppe, würde ich mal sagen 😉
Mal nicht am Preis aufhaltent, würde ich gerne sagen, dass mich die Spinne und der Titan da sehr gut abholen. Das sind großartige Modelle.
Die Bemalung ist extrem schön für mich und ich finde die Papierkrieger eine sehr gute Idee.

Hat gw generell spielbare 2000 Punkte armeen kaufbar für 499 Euro?
Gerade mit blick darauf, das conquest gratis regeln und gratis army builder hat?
Das einzige massen gw system wqs ich gerade spiele ist the old world und da ist so das günstigste oger:

Tyrant 60
2x eisenwänste 74

Regelbuch 55
Macht 351 Euro.
Das hat aber auch den Riesenvorteil, dass die oger die uralten Modelle haben und die noch recht preiswert sind. Sind vergleichbare sachen für aos und 40k vorhanden?
Ich würde mit den ogern kein turnier spielen, aber für casual ist das eine okaye armee.

GW hat sowas nicht direkt, aber zB Games Island verkauft 2000 Punkte Turnier Armeen für 40k.
Für ungefähr 500 Euro gibt es da zumindest auch eine Ultramarines Armee.

Realistisch betrachtet ist es gefahrlos eine Box bei GW zu kaufen, weil man die nahezu immer zu recht guten Preisen wieder verkaufen kann. Bei Conquest ist das leider nicht so der Fall.
Ja, in der Bretonen Box z.B. hast Du 1.250 Punkte und das Regelbuch für 212€. Da kann man locker bei 2.000 pkt unter 500€ bleiben.
Das Chaos Batallion liegt sogar noch besser, knapp 2.000pkt für 150€ zzgl. Bücher
Ähnlich die Zwerge, hier kommt man mit 1-2 Charaktermodellen ebenfalls locker auf 2.000 pkt für 150€.
Kommt eben stark auf die Armee an, aber Massenarmeem waren schon immer unbezahlbar
Bin vor zwei Jahren, nach rund 25 Jahren Pause, wieder ins Tabletop-Hobby eingestiegen und spiele bzw. sammle nun aktuell mehrere Systeme. Und ganz ehrlich: Ob GW, Asmodee oder Para Bellum, die Preise sind systemübergreifend inzwischen ziemlich hoch. GW natürlich auch, aber mit etwas Suche und guten Angeboten im Netz kommt man in der Regel trotzdem für etwa 300–400 Euro auf eine 2.000-Punkte-Liste: 2x Spearhead/Combat Patrol plus eine Armeebox (wie jetzt gerade beim Taschengelddieb für 160 Euro) und man ist meist schon gut dabei.
Was Set’s und Bundles angeht hat Para Bellum es anderen Herstellern vorraus gute Sets anzubieten und für die Unterschiedlichen Punktegrenzen.
Der Preis ist definitiv nicht auf GW Niveau. Das sind 2000 Punkte, also die maximale Größe für ein Spiel. Da muss man für GW in der Regel tiefer in die Tasche greifen, vor allem wenn man nicht tricksen möchte. Die Miniaturen sind auch durchschnittlich größer als GW Miniaturen.
Ich mag den Maßstab der PB Miniaturen, die sind auch mit meinen Augen gut zu bemalen, aber das ist natürlich subjektiv.
Der Preis ist mal dahingestellt. Tabletop ist nunmal „teuer“ aber relativ wenn ich mir meine Sportaustüstung anschaue. 😉
Mich würde aber ehr interessieren wie viel % man zum Einzelkauf spart.
Sprich: Was serviert und die Firma tatsächlich?
Dies ist auch unabhängig von cool oder ob man das System spielt.
Das kommt darauf an ob es das Bundle auch rabattiert im Handel gibt oder nur direkt bei parabellum. Wenn ich mir die Sachen über die bereits vorhandenen Sets einzeln zusammenkaufe lande ich bei ca. 410€.
Manche Händler haben die im Angebot. Ist aber eher selten. ParaBellum hat meistend aber auch eine Art von Angebot im eigenen Store wo man auch noch was dazu bekommt.
Na so selten auch nicht. Ein gewisser Händler aus UK hat die Ritterbox für 50% im BF Presale rausgehauen.
Die Rabatte bei den Einzelhändlern sind teilweise wirklich sehr saftig. Man kann da ein bisschen hin und her suchen, aber ich habe jetzt auf Anhieb ein Armee-Bundle für 360€ gefunden, das bei PB für rund 450€ weg geht.
Das Yoroni-Bundle gibt es anscheinend noch nicht bei den hiesigen Einzelhändlern, aber ich denke das wird noch kommen.
Ja ich hab die neue 100 Kingdoms starter Box mit den Sicarii für 99 gekauft, das ist fast halber Preis.

Die Preise sind einfach komplett überzogen bei alle diesen Produkten – da bleib ich bei Etsy Figuren oder drucke gleich besser selbst.
PD und GW sind für mich preislich grob in einer Liga.
Bei GW gab es früher mal „1 Click Bundels“ und die haben vor Jahren schon 500€ gekostet. Hier dürfte nun etwas Rabatt dabei sein.
Meine beiden Conquest Armeen haben jeweils so etwas über 300€ gekostet, denn PB bringt ja auch ständig rabattierte Boxen.
Conquest will aber auch kaum eine günstige Alternative zu Warhammer sein, das ist KoW.
KoW ist schon seit einiger Zeit ebenfalls nicht mehr günstig. Und damit meine ich nicht, auf dem gleichen Niveau wie GW, sondern die Spanne zwischen KoW bzw. Mantic Games und GW ist bei den großen Systemen deutlich kleiner geworden.
Absolut und das Geld sind mir die Minis oft nicht wert.
