Carnevale: World’s Faire Afterparty
Carnevale bekommt ein Starterset mit Plastikminiaturen.
You are all invited to the spectacle that is the World’s Faire After Party! Slated for release later this month, this new compact two-player starter set includes everything you need to jump into the world of Carnevale miniatures game.
Will you sneak into the Faire with the Patricians or join the Doctors in guarding their secret work?
Carnevale: Invitation to the World’s Faire Afterparty
Citizens of Venice, rejoice as the World’s Faire has arrived in town! We all share the scars from the great catastrophe of 1793, but painful memories belong to the past; now is the time to acknowledge how far our beloved Venice has come. As we near the end of 1795 and take a step closer to the dawn of a new century, we invite everyone to revel in the Doctors of the Ospedale’s latest mindbending inventions.
What is the World’s Faire Afterparty?
Plastic miniatures for the Carnevale miniatures game in a two-player starter set. That’s what the World’s Faire Afterparty is bringing to our loyal Citizens. Of course, like any of the TTCombat starter sets, you’ll also find everything you’ll need to start playing straight away. This means inside the set are the following items:
- 8 finely detailed hard plastic miniatures (4 x Doctors, 4 x Patricians)
- 8 Plastic Bases
- Dice
- Tokens
- 3 Different Card Buildings
- Card Scenery Pack (including a Gondola)
- Range Ruler
- Character & Quickplay Cards
- Double-Sided Gaming Mat
- Updated Rulebook
When combined, all of these items make for a fantastic starter set for two Citizens looking to dip their toes into the Canals of Venice. In a similar fashion to our Escape from San Canciano starter, the gangs included in this set are of a smaller scale, meaning they’re easy to add to and expand for future games.
The Miniatures
Will you join the Patricians in seeking to uncover the secrets of the World’s Faire, or will you look to secure your experiments with your fellow doctors? Our new starter set includes 8 hard plastic miniatures, including two new character types exclusive to this box: the Doctor of Divine Probability and the Hired Muscle. Beyond these, you’ll recognise new sculpts for familiar characters like the Barnabotti, Cat Burglar, Electron Cannoneer, and so on. Each of these characters are highly detailed and come in multiple parts on an extremely packed sprue.
The Rulebook
Included in the World’s Faire Afterparty is a new compact Rulebook which contains the most up-to-date ruleset for Carnevale. Flicking through its pages, you’ll learn the basics of the game, including movement, combat, actions, magic, interacting with your terrain, and of course, some special rules. Towards the end of the book, you’ll find several scenarios to play out, designed around the miniatures in the set. Of course, we don’t want to slow you down when playing by having to look for character references in the rulebook, and have therefore included Character and Quickplay cards separately.
Terrain
The Carnevale miniatures game is all about backflipping off buildings whilst screaming “HARDCORE PARKOUR“ before plunging your daggers into an unsuspecting Monstrosity, but to do this, you’ll need terrain. Inside the starter are three quick-to-assemble card buildings which, when whole, will easily support the weight of your gang. With an updated facade to our previously released Carnevale card terrain, this set proudly flies the Doctor’s imagery as the whole of Venice celebrates the World’s Faire.
Carnevale: World’s Faire Afterparty is planned to be available for pre-order at the end of October, with a full release slated for November.
