Autoblinda AB41/43 Armoured Car – €26,50

One of the most successful Italian armoured cars of the Second World War, the Autoblinda AB41 combined excellent mobility with reasonable armament and decent protection, making for a perfect light reconnaissance vehicle. Several hundred would be produced in both the AB41 and later AB43 variants, with the latter almost exclusively seeing service in German hands after the Italian surrender.
Armoured cars like the AB41/43 are ideal for forming Bolt Action Armoured Platoons at a lower points cost than their heavier counterparts. Packing a deadly light autocannon and with the always-useful Recce special rule, it’s a great choice for harassing enemy infantry and light armour alike.
The AB43 can also be considered for use in German armies as an addition to the Captured and Repurposed Vehicles list. Simply use the rules for the AB41/43 presented in Armies of Italy.

Instant Ohrwurm 🤣
Vielleicht liegt es nur an mir oder an der Aufnahme, aber ist das Größenverhältnis des Autoblinda AB41/43 zum Kommandanten nicht arg schräg?
Der Kerl sieht aus, als würde er nicht wirklich durch die Turmluke passen. Wenn ich dann noch das Bild auf der Box damit vergleiche, sieht es für mich aus, als würden die Maßstäbe (Fahrzeug/Figur) nicht zusammenpassen …
Das Kommandantenproblem gibt es ja häufiger, weil Fahrzeuge – wenn man reale Maße nimmt – eher zu einer TrueScale als zu einer HeroicScale Figur passen. Die ganzen italienischen Fahrzeuge sind aber auch im realen Leben echt eng, verwinkelt.

Mit meinen 1,80 bin ich auch deutlich zu groß um Panzerfahrerin zu sein. ^^
Das ist ein uraltes Thema, das gerne mal verwechselt wird. 1:56 ist ein Maßstab, 28mm ist eine Größe. Während bei den Fahrzeugen jedes Teil in jeder optischen Achse im Verhältnis steht, muss bei den Figuren nur die Höhe stimmen. Der Rest, inkl. Ausrüstung, kann so dick oder dünn sein wie der Modelierer es mag.
