Derzeit läuft ein neuer Geländekickstarter aus Deutschland.
The Obliquus Castellum – Modular Fantasy Tabletop Terrain, STL-Files

Welcome to my first Kickstarter, „The Obliquus Castellum“
It all started with the idea to design a special oblique tower for my fantasy tabletop army inspired by Roman architecture.
After that came the crazy Idea to connect two towers via a bridge. In the sense of a customs station for roads or rivers. This also created the walkways and balconies.
After finishing the first parts, I felt it would be nice to have it modular. With the help of connectors, you can now reassemble the tower and the castle again and again without everything collapsing.
After that I added some walls, corners and the gate. One by one it grew until it became a whole castellum.
All together, it offers incredible possibilities for variation and individuality. Build your own tower or two, a small defense system, or a large fortress. Even small huts or a mausoleum are possible with these files. Let your fantasy run free, because with these STL files, there are no limits.
What is meant by Obliquus?
Almost all parts can be reassembled again and again with connectors.
Included in the Basic Set:
The different level and socket parts give you a huge number of combinations for the tower.
By adding the walls, corners, and wall gate, your tower turns into a castellum.

With the bridge, you can add even more variety to the tower and, for example, build a customs station.
Tip: With magnetic foil on the sides, you can ensure good cohesion of the parts during play.

Printability
All of the models print without the need for supports, and are designed for FDM printers. Maximum size will fit average printer beds – 200mm x 200mm.
I’ve test printed every model using a combination of slicers, including PrusaSlicer and Cura, and printed them on common desktop machines such as a Prusa i3 MK3 and Artellery Sidewinder X1.
How will files be delivered
The campaign pledges will fulfill through the MyMiniFactory once funds clear through Kickstarter. It usually takes 2-3 weeks after the campaign finishes before funds clear and files become available.
The STL files for this campaign will be delivered via the MyMiniFactory Pledge Manager. Files will be available approximately two weeks after the campaign ends.

Das ist gar nicht mal so inovativ oder hübsch.
Und basierend auf der verhaltenen Kickstarter Reaktion würde ich auch sagen da kommt nicht mehr viel.

Anstatt über einen KS zu berichten der seit Tagen stagniert und eigentlich schon gescheitert ist, hättet ihr lieber die Tage mal darüber berichten können das Knights of Dice aufgrund äußerer Umstände aufgegeben haben und zum 30.06. schließen.

Auf Knights of Dice werden wir noch zu sprechen kommen, wie relevant ein australischer Hersteller, dessen Produkte (ähnlich wie Miniature Scenery) in Europa nur umständlich zu bekommen sind, am Ende des Tages für die große Mehrheit der Leser ist, wage ich bei aller Sympathie für Viv nicht zu sagen.

Das gilt auch für Brutal Cities, Battle Kiwi, Victoria, Miniature Scenery, Back 2 Base-ix mehr fallen mir gerade nicht ein. Alle von down under und alle völlig unproblematisch beim Bestellen

Und klar könnt ihr entscheiden wem ihr einen Slot widmet, und wenn es sowas belangloses wie das Age of Sigmar Computerspiel oder dieser wahrscheinlich scheiternde KS sind, dann ist das so.
Aber interessanter wäre das mit Knights of Dice alle mal. Besonders wenn man schaut warum er leider schließen muss.
Unproblematisch vom Vorgang an sich, aber Porto, MWSt auf Porto und dem Produkt plus DHL Handlingsgebühren machen für mich den Abschlusspreis sehr wohl problematisch. Gerade halt bei Produkten, die es ähnlich in der EU gibt. Da haben die genannten australischen Herstellern auch kein ausreichendes Alleinstellungsmerkmal
Zoll und entsprechende Gebühren nicht zu vergessen …
Immerhin hat KoD auch in Europa einige Retail-/Handelspartner, wo man wegen zumindest einiger Sachen schauen kann. Links und Infos findet man auf deren Website.
Da sind teils valide Punkte (Porto entfällt halt meinstens bei mittleren Beträgen).
Und ich kann auch verstehen das MWST und Post da dann noch etwas abschrecken.
Aber das muss man dann mit einkalkulieren.
Aber bis auf Minitature Scenery stimme ich nicht mit der Aussage ähnliche Produkte in der EU überein. Brutal Cities bietet etwas das es sonst gar nicht gibt. Battle Kiwi und Knights haben zumindest sehr aussergewöhnliche Designs.
Die meisten MDF Hersteller die mir einfallen, sitzen auch gar nicht mehr in der EU.
Da würden mir nur Kromlech (PL), Zen Terrian (PL), Pwork(PL), Banduda (SP), Custom Meeple (SP), Laser Army Szenery (SP) einfallen der Rest deren Namen mir gerade einfällt sitzt in UK oder Ukraine.
Das Arguemt Kosten kann ich verstehen aber dann plant man entsprechend und dann ist das in der Regel kein Problem.
Warum sollte man das drucken, wenn es am Schluss aufgrund der sehr flachen Texturen wie ein mäßig gut designtes MDF Kit?
Und danke auch für auch solche Nachrichten.
Ich finde es gut, daß man auch potentiell nicht so relevante News abdeckt und nicht immer der breiten Masse folgt.
Finde es ganz ok und im Video sieht man auch das es nicht ganz flach ist. Der modulare Gedanke daran gefällt mir. Finde die Farben der Teile lassen es etwas wie Spielzeug wirken. Mit etwas anderen Farben würde es ,denke ich besser wirken.
