Heresy Thursday – The Plastic Legion Vindicator Is the Ultimate Everything-Killer
Picture the scene – foul Traitors/foolish Loyalists (delete as appropriate) cower behind their latest fortress. Your squadron of Deimos-pattern Predators, though great at tearing other tanks to tatters, aren’t cutting the mustard against such enormous ramparts. You need something bigger! You need something that hits like a haymaker from the Emperor’s own fist. You need a Vindicator.
The last word in mobile wall-removal packs a massive centerline-mounted demolisher cannon – a huge shell-lobbing bombard that trades the long range of artillery for awesome destructive power. It’s quite content to turn anything it hits into confetti, but excels at cracking Fortifications and other buildings.
During the Age of Darkness, it was common to fit Vindicators with magna laser destroyers to take on super-heavy vehicles and Titans. These batteries of up-gunned lascannons toss out more shots than the Sicaran Venator’s lone neutron beam laser, and trade the extreme range and destructive power of the neutron laser battery found on the Cerberus for the privilege of not occasionally blowing up in your face.
Both loadouts are included in the new kit, plus a hefty dozer blade and the usual bevvy of pintle-mounted guns. The rules for this mighty armour-cracker can be found in the Liber Astartes and Liber Hereticus rulebooks – the Vindicator can be fielded in squadrons of up to three, so get to planning your armoured division and you’ll soon feel… vindicated.

Und der nächste Panzer…
Es fehlen zig Standardeinheiten, aber GW haut Panzer, Praetoren und legionsspezifische Schulterpanzer am laufenden Band raus. Naja, Spieler mit nem 3d-Drucker juckt es nicht bei den vielen Files, die man mittlerweile findet. Aber es verwundert schon, was GW für Prioritäten im Veröffentlichungskalender für Heresy gesetzt hat.
und jetzt alle zur Melodie von Mötley Crües berühmten Song: tanks, tanks tanks 😂
vergessen wir ausserdem mal nicht die „nicht-marines“;
gerüchten zufolge soll es in warhammer auch mal was anderes als marines gegeben haben.
hört man.
die meisten von denen bekommen garnix ab, oder alle paar jahre mal 1 neuen bausatz;
legionsspezifische schulterpanzer, holzbeine oder fingernägel gibts aber am laufenden band.
dann sehen die 20 gleichen armeen beim nächsten turnier wenigstens minimalST unterschiedlich aus.
hm. meine warpspinnen („aktuelle“ modelle) sind vermutlich inzwischen älter als ein guter teil der leserschaft hier. würde mich nerven, wenn mich gw-preise und regel“Modell“ nicht vom spielen/kaufen abhalten würden 😉
