Amon Hen is a long-forgotten seat of power in Middle-earth, a hill topped by the ruined Seat of Seeing and scattered with the crumbling stone visages of fallen statues. It was there that the Fellowship of the Ring was broken, scattered by the grasping power of Saruman the White – and the machinations of the One Ring itself. Ambushed by Uruk-hai shortly after crossing the River Anduin, the Fellowship fought a frantic skirmish that ended with the death of Boromir and the capture of Merry and Pippin, while Frodo and Sam escaped to continue the journey to Mordor alone.
This single-component resin terrain piece depicts the broken, half-buried head of a massive statue, as seen in the climax of The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring™ movie. Ich meine, bin ein großer HdR-Fan, habe dank dem HdR-Tabletop 2004 mit dem Hobby angefangen und habe tatsächlich bei der Ankündigung für 2 Sekunden darüber nachgedacht, ob ich es mir tatsächlich holen soll. Aber für das andere Amon Hen Gelände Stück wollten die auch schon extrem viel verlangen. Und der Kopf soll tatsächlich fast 1/5 vom anderen Amon Hen Set wert sein? Ja, ne ist klar.
Wäre eigentlich genau das richtige für sowas wie eine Werbegeschenk-Serie. Etwa Belohnung Ladenturniere oder so.
Schon komisch, so herzensgute Firmen wie Wizards oder Wizkids machen da sehr viel in der Hinsicht, GW so gar nix

Wenn man das mit dem Weathering und der Vegetation nicht so gut hinkriegt wie auf den Fotos, ist das Geländestück wirklich sehr bland. Gibt ja viele Alternativen. So richtig interessant ist das Ding wohl nur für Sammler, die unbedingt Originale haben wollen.
Selbst als Fan des Spiels und das seit der ersten Stunde: Amon Hen ist auch nur ein Szenario, ein relativ unspektakulärer Ort. Da wäre so viel mehr möglich, um Mittelerde mit schönem Gelände zu versorgen. Aber ich bleibe dabei, dass es gut ist, wenn GW Herr der Ringe so lässt wie es ist. Dann wird das Spiel nicht so ein Quatsch wie die beiden großen Zugpferde der Firma.
Für Leute die sowas wollen: Bei Norba-Miniatures gibts quasi den gleichen für 12 Euro.
