GW: Eldar Preview und Geburtstagsminiaturen 2022
Die bereits etwas in die Jahre gekommen Gardisten der Eldar bekommen 2022 eine Überarbeitung, es gibt zwei neue Miniaturen für die Ladengeburtstage und ein Teaser-Video.

After all this time, Aeldari fans, the wait is over! New Aeldari Guardian miniatures are on the way!!
Let’s take a look.
The old Guardian squad has given us many years of faithful service, but this new kit improves upon these veteran miniatures, providing more dynamic poses and more choices of weapons, heads,* and bodies.
The new kit includes options to make either a squad of Guardian Defenders (including a heavy weapon platform) or a squad of Storm Guardians, with a new addition for the latter – a Serpent’s Scale Platform. The latter deflects incoming fire, allowing your squad to stroll nonchalantly across the battlefield before slicing their way through the younger races of the galaxy.
2022 is going to be a big year for the Aeldari with the release of the Eldritch Omens boxed set, but that’s just the start!
* Including bare heads for those fans of Ynnead or those that don’t want to mess up their hair by wearing a helmet.
Celebrate This Year’s Store Anniversaries With A Brand New Inquisitor and Gutrippa Boss
Every year we like to commemorate the anniversaries of your local Warhammer stores with some celebratory miniatures, and the two for 2022 are perhaps the best ever. They will both be available on the weekend of your store’s anniversary, and for the next seven days afterwards, so you’ve got plenty of time to pop in and get your hands on them.
So who exactly will be joining you to celebrate another lap around the Sun? Allow us to introduce Inquisitor Erasmus Cartavolnus and Haggok the Gutrippa.
Erasmus Cartavolnus – Ordo Malleus Inquisitor
The Ordo Malleus is dedicated to hunting and exterminating daemons wherever they appear, and Erasmus Cartavolnus has been doing it for over 300 years. Despite his advanced age, this zealous Inquisitor still strides the battlefield in search of daemonic quarry, and his knowledge of binding rituals is second to none.
Sculpted plunging his personal force sword into a book of cursed scripture, you can see from the ghostly face in the flames that more than just words made their home between the pages.
Haggok – Gutrippa Boss
It takes a wily creature to command the respect of a Kruleboyz Gutrippa mob, and Haggok is always on the lookout for his latest would-be usurper to pre-emptively run through.
With a (mostly) tame vulture keeping its beady eyes open for incoming threats, Haggok has time to relax a little and survey the battlefield, leaning casually on his skareshield. He fits in perfectly with your existing Gutrippa warbands, and as a unit leader, he has a more refined air than your average Kruleboy can muster.
Start 2022 Off Right With a Sneak Peek at This Year’s Releases
Happy New Year, hobbyists – and what an excellent year it’s going to be. 2021 was crammed to the gills with books, models, and even new editions of Warhammer Age of Sigmar and Warhammer 40,000: Kill Team. Of course, the Warhammer Studio team are never ones to rest on their laurels, so 2022 is going to be even bigger and better than before. To prove it we’ve got a sneak peek at just some of the things coming up later this year.
We’ve already seen bits and bobs from Eldritch Omens and Fury of the Deep, but there’s plenty in here that clearly aren’t from either of them. Doesn’t that one chap know that Halloween was months ago? And how about his friend, who should probably get some sun lotion on that cracked skin of his?
All we know is, the year’s off to a cracking start with imminent codex releases for the Genestealer Cults, Adeptus Custodes, and T’au Empire, and if this video’s anything to go by, the hype macro-train has no brakes. In fact, there are some tidbits in there that even we haven’t heard a whisper of yet, so engage your prediction circuits and try to guess what could be coming soon.
It’s not just the 41st Millennium getting plenty of new things to look forward to, either – Warhammer Age of Sigmar fans have new battletomes, miniatures, and loads more on the way.

Auf die Eldar bin ich mächtig gespannt. Die Guardians sehen schon mal ganz viel versprechend aus.
Also nen neuer Avatar und Maugan Ra. Nice.
Was? Kein Primaris Captain / Lieutenant / Sergeant??? Bin enttäuscht. 😉
Mal im ernst. Der Inquisitor ist echt genial geworden. Erinnert mich sehr an meinen Charakter bei Inquisitor: Martyr.
Ich möchte in kein GW-System mehr einsteigen, aber die Kruleboyz gefallen mir richtig, richtig gut (obwohl ich mit Orks sonst auch wenig anfangen kann). Vielleicht muss ich mir die Dominion-Box doch nochmal besorgen 🤔
Und der Inquisitor ist wirklich stark und selbst die Eldar wissen zu gefallen.
Völlig gleich, wie schlecht ich Preis-, Produktpolitik oder Kommunikation von GW finde, die Designs wissen immer wieder positiv zu überraschen.

Mein Problem sind noch 3 große Malprojekte, wo ich wahrscheinlich jeweils ein Jahr dran sitze 😔
Bin mir nicht sicher, ob es Sinn macht, jetzt ein viertes anzufangen.
Ich kann es kaum glauben. Nach 20 Jahren macht GW neue Gardisten. Ich erinnere mich 1999 als der neue Eldar Codex erschient. Die Box mit 16 Gardisten kostete 40 DM. Aber keine Waffenplatform und keine optionen auf Sturmgardisten. Entweder seperat im Blister oder per Mailorder. Schön, dass Eldar neue releases erhällt. War meine erste Armee. Würde ich jetzt deswegen mit WH40k anfangen? Auf gar keinen Fall. Die Regeln sind mir einfach zu teuer und unübersichtlich.
Aaaaaber du könntest dir mal One Page Rules ansehen, vielleicht bekommst du ja Leute überzeugt und kannst dich dann einfach an den Modellen innerhalb einem dir vielleicht angenehmeren ( und im Prinzip unentgeltlichen) Regelsatz erfreuen.
Ich habe aufgehört, GW-Spielern andere Systeme oder Regeln zu zeigen. Das fruchtet sehr wenig und ist vergeudete Zeit und Energie. Die sind zufrieden mit ihren Mist.
Die neuen Eldar Gardisten sind ein mehr als gelungenes Update / Remaster der klassischen Miniaturen, die mittlerweile über 20 Jahre auf dem Buckel haben. Dabei gelingt es GW, den klassischen Stil von Jes Goodwyn beizubehalten, aber die Miniaturen auf den aktuellen Stand zu bringen. So sind die Rüstungen jetzt viel definierter und schärfer und auch die Anatomie passt weitaus besser, gerade bei den weiblichen Guardians, die es ja auch damals schon gab. Dazu gibt es jetzt endlich auch die Option auf Sturmgardisten in der Box, zusammen mit einem neuen Schildgenerator Spielzeug. Ich bin jedenfalls begeistert und werde mir als alter Eldar-Spieler die Box sicher zulegen, wenn sie erscheint.
Einziger kleiner Wermutstropfen: Die neuen Miniaturen werden höchstwahrscheinlich 10 fixe Posen haben, während die alten Minis frei positionierbar waren mit separaten Beinen, Torsi, Köpfen und Waffenarmen.
Die Box mit 16 Gardisten waren damals meine ersten Tabletop Figuren, weshalb ich mir die neuen zum Vergleich mal holen werde. Aus Wehmut werde ich dann bestimmt noch einmal über 40k nachdenken, das neue Regelwerk beginnen zu lesen, den Kopf schütteln und noch einmal ein Spiel in der 3. Edition machen und mich fragen, weshalb dieses wundervolle System inzwischen so komisch geworden ist. Aber sei’s drum. Nostalgie im Hobby ist manchmal auch nicht falsch.
Hauptsache es sind für alle Modelle vollständige Optionen bei… nicht, dass man am Ende 7 Gardisten mit Katapulten und 3 mit Nahkampfwaffen hat…
Neue Eldar-Gardisten find ich schon nice. 🙂 Wenn die aber 40/45€ kosten, bin ich raus… 😛
