GW: Arcane Cataclysm Preview
In der neuen Box, Arcane Cataclysm, für Warhammer Age of Sigmar werden die Truppen der Lumineth Elfen gegen die Anhänger des Chaosgottes Tzeentch antreten.
Magical Might Comes to the Fore in the Latest Warhammer Age of Sigmar BattleboxThe winds of magic blow across the Mortal Realms, and in Hysh, the Lumineth Realm-lords and the Disciples of Tzeentch battle for supremacy with arcane sorcery.
Arcane Cataclysm is a new battlebox for Warhammer Age of Sigmar in which the Changer of the Ways seeks magical items buried in the wastelands of Hysh. Inside the box, you’ll find 55 finely detailed Citadel miniatures – perfect for starting new armies or adding to existing ones. There are also new battleplans and rules to play out the epic confrontation between these two ancient enemies.
As you’ve come to expect from battleboxes, Arcane Cataclysm contains some brand-new miniatures. The eagle-eyed among you may have noticed the points values for the Scinari Enlightener in the recent Warhammer Age of Sigmar updates. Now, you can get your first glimpse of this powerful mage that uses the symmetry and symbolism of Hysh as a weapon.
This mighty wizard is accompanied into battle by units of Vanari Dawnriders, Vanari Bladelords, and Vanari Auralan Sentinels, forming the rigid core of an aelven army.
Opposing the Lumineth Realm-lords are the Disciples of Tzeentch, led by the Curseling, who has a fantastic new plastic sculpt.
While the Scinari Enlightener is a pure wizard, the Curseling is also pretty handy in a fight (as you might expect from someone with that many extra hands), especially when he’s backed up by Tzaangor Enlightened, Kairic Acolytes, and a horde of Tzaangors.
The box also includes a 56-page core rulebook featuring new battleplans, a token sheet, and warscroll cards for all the units in the box, so you’re all ready to get your Lumineth Realm-lords and Disciples of Tzeentch onto the tabletop.
We’ll have more news on the Arcane Cataclysm boxed set as we get closer to its release date.
