More Normality!

So we’re continuing up the path to normality. I mean there’s been a pandemic, and there’s horrible anti-business laws appearing and no EU country seems remotely ready for them  but ya know, internally we can’t do much about that. More businesses in our little industry have fallen recently, it’s pretty rough out there and we appreciate you guys and gals‘ support. We shall battle on!

The Hasslefree FB Page continues to get better metrics, but please continue to help by liking, sharing and commenting whenever you can. You can literally see the metrics go up, it’s very helpful 🙂

The non-rosy part of the week is mentioned in the And Finally section below.

Metals are still on the way for next month but for now, here’s some more Resin Masters!

Resin Master – Grak the Butcher

Hasslefree More Normality! Update 1

Grak the Butcher, a mighty Ogre Mercenary. Grak is very old, and rumour has it he pays someone very well to make new versions of his clothes and armour so he appears unchanging.

Comes with a weapon choice of mace or sword. Around 50mm to top of helmet.

Kev made this mini as an homage to, and an update for, minis of yesteryear. He had an ‚old school‘ kick for a while, so there may be more to come when he digs out more unfinished stuff 😀

Resin Master – Gruach of the Grisenmark

Hasslefree More Normality! Update 2

Gruach, The Fell Lady of the Grisenmark and Keeper of the Hounds.

Carrying a ghast head, but not a difficult removal if you want her to be carrying something else.

Resin Master – Thora Tyrsdottir

Hasslefree More Normality! Update 3

Thora the Explorer, a lady of the North who has taken to the adventuring life with great enthusiasm.

Comes complete with choice of heads.

Resin Master – Klapslung

Hasslefree More Normality! Update 4

Nobody, including Klapslung himself, is quite sure what Klapslung is. Too Human to be an Orc, definitely too Orc to be a Human, and maybe something else mixed in?

Whatever he is, he is definitely easy to underestimate. A calm looking oddfellow, regularly seen ambling about the countryside smoking his pipe. That sword and shield aren’t decorative though, as many a bandit has had the misfortune to find out.

(Can I just say that Kev and I regularly poke fun at the names we each choose for minis, but that is definitely just ‚Collapsed Lung‘ right? 🙂

And yes, before you ask, we do have plans to sell our shields, and other ‚bitz‘ separately in the future)

Resin Master – Syr Semark

Hasslefree More Normality! Update 5

Syr Semark, Keeper of the Purple Chest. A true rarity, a human knighted dwarf. After heroic actions in the defence of Castlemere, Davi Semark was knighted by the Lord of the Rising Vale in a controversial act.

Acknowledging his role, the now Syr Semark adopted some human additions to his armour and to this day is said to have a better collection of helmets than most human knights.

Resin Master – T.J. Castle

Hasslefree More Normality! Update 6

T.J. Castle, private investigator. Castle likes to think that no job is too dirty, which is just as well, as most of his jobs are just that!

Could easily be used in a Near Future, Cyberpunk or even Sci-Fi setting too.

Resin Master – Thora Skyclad

Hasslefree More Normality! Update 7

Thora the Explorer, a lady of the North who has taken to the adventuring life with great enthusiasm.

Seen here skyclad and carrying, well, a rod 🙂

Add your own choice of weaponry!

Resin Master – Gruach Skyclad

Hasslefree More Normality! Update 8

Gruach, The Fell Lady of the Grisenmark, Keeper of the Hounds and apparently, naked dance enthusiast.

Resin Master – Brute Dolly

Hasslefree More Normality! Update 9

A brutish male dolly. Regular male height, even a little short at around 30mm as posed.

Kickstarter News!

Hasslefree More Normality! Update 10

Right everyone, time to start the internal Hype!

As soon as we can arrange it, we will be launching our second Kickstarter, and it will be to expand our Galactic Universe.

So it’s all Sci-Fi, all day. Sorry Fantasy and Modern enthusiasts 🙂 (there may be a few minis in there ripe for conversion, especially for the modern lovers).

The idea behind the Kickstarter is simple. We’ve not released much metal these past years while I was sick, and we want to see if Kickstarter has any oomph left in these trying economic times.  Rather than eke out a couple of minis a month (or invest a hell of a lot in moulding up front) we’re going to go for one big release via Kickstarter of all built up Sci-Fi minis, plus some WIPS and Ideas that Kev has in his head or on his desk.

The majority of minis will be finished greens or WIPS on corks, there are a few that are still just at the idea/sketch stage, we’ll see how those go. We’ve even had a few cast in resin already, as you can see from the Ad image above.

Kommentare

(Your miles may vary, of course)
