The Ultramarines Legion Praetors are Ideal for Avenging Calth
Welcome to Legion Dispatch, our regular series of articles showing off future releases for The Horus Heresy. So far, we’ve seen Maloghurst the Twisted, Imperial Fists Praetors, and the terrifying Argel Tal. We’re back to the Loyalist side today as we show off the Ultramarines Praetors.
The Ultramarines are well known for doing things by the book, so they probably had to get loads of forms filled in before their Legion Praetors were ready for battle. Now that Roboute Guilliman has given them the final stamp of approval, you’ll see that they’re well worth the wait.
As you’d expect from some of the finest warriors in the Legion, they are clad only in the best armour and carry the most powerful weapons available. They’re covered in Ultramarines symbols and insignia so that you can easily identify who is in charge, whether you’re fighting in the catacombs of Calth* or starting your own Imperium.**
Available in either the most lavish of power armour or the equally impressive Terminator armour, these models will strike fear into both hearts of any Word Bearer (or Traitors from any other Legion, for that matter). So whether you’re holding back the Shadow Crusade*** or taking the slowest possible route to Terra, they will fit in perfectly with the rest of your Ultramarines collection.
The Ultramarines Praetors will be available to pre-order soon. In the meantime, grab a unit of Invictarus Suzerain to accompany your Praetors into battle.

When It Comes to Burning Heretics With the Black Templars, Flamers Are So Last Millennium
The rumours have been circulating for a while now. But with the codex supplement announced on our road mapand new cover art revealed, the fervent prayers of the faithful have been heard – the Black Templars are on their way.
What’s more, they’re bringing some shiny heretic-purging wargear with which to immolate anyone foolish enough to besmirch the glorious name of the God-Emperor. Behold the Primaris Initiate with pyreblaster!
Flamers are cool and all – if it’s possible for a weapon that sprays liquid fire to be ‘cool’ – but when it comes to delivering fiery death to the masses, the Black Templars prefer to dial it up to 11.
It’s got a sturdier design and longer barrel than a traditional flamer, so the pyreblaster can hurl promethium-based annihilation with devastating force. Those wielding these weapons can make their blazing presence known from further away while searing through an enemy’s armour with even greater vim.
If you like your heretic steak ‘well done’, look no further than this formidable weapon.
You might have noticed that the pyreblaster comes complete with a chain attaching it to the warrior’s wrist in the traditional manner of the Black Templars – perhaps that’s a hint at what else is on the way. Or maybe this particular chap is just prone to misplacing his belongings.
We’ll have more intel on what awaits you in the new Black Templars codex supplement – and anything else that may be accompanying it – as we near its release date.
