Corvus Belli: TAG Raid Previews
Corvus Belli haben neue Bilder und Informationen zu ihrem kommenden Spiel „TAG Raid“ veröffentlicht. Außerdem kann man das Spiel nun auch in einer Demo für den Tabletop Simulator anspielen.
Neomaterial extraction in Khurland is no easy task. Collecting the most Teseum, surviving the raging MegaBeasts, or simply finding the perfect tactical rock are missions that no one person can do on their own.
That’s why in Infinity Deathmatch: TAG Raid, TAG pilots won’t be alone. Each Mining Corporation will have full control of a Prospecting Crew.
This team of workers will be made up of one TAG and up to two other Miners from the Corporation.
Each Miner will have a function within the Crew – Either providing support or collecting more Neomaterial.
The TAG’s large size, cargo capacity, and strength make it the main asset for a mining operation. Capable of using heavy tools, they won’t hesitate to use them as weapons. These miners will get Teseum when they eliminate other TAGs or enemy prospectors. If they are destroyed, though, it will cost you half of your profits – but you know how the saying goes: Without risk, there is no reward!
Another one of our ProspectingCrew’s more attack-oriented pieces is the Prospectors. Thanks to their exoskeleton, it provides support and security to the expedition. If things go south, they’ll take up their Prospecting Hammer or their Riveting Pistol. Now, when things go to hell, they’ll use both hands to handle the TAGs‘ huge tools, wielding them with lethal dexterity.
They have the ability to obtain Teseum out of one of the many veins in the ground, but they mainly do so by eliminating enemy TAGs and Prospectors. It’s usually far less work.
But not everything is about causing pain. Remotes are semi-autonomous support units – what they lack in armor they compensate with speed and versatility. Their main task is to transport Neomaterials and… handling explosives…( Okay, they can cause pain, but c’mon, this is TAG Raid we’re talking about!).
These adorable little miners can get our Neomaterial units to safe storage – preventing us from losing them when our TAGs or Prospectors get taken down. However, they must get those Neomaterials to a Tool Container before some greedy miner decides to attack them.
Handling explosives is usually a dangerous job, and since Remotes are easily replaceable units, they do a much better job placing or disarming D-Charges – as long as they don’t get blown to pieces before they manage to do so, that is.
Now that you know what your Prospecting Crew is made of, you’re ready to head out there! Get as much Teseum as you can or become a MegaBeast’s dinner – it’s up to you.
Vurgok arrives to Dawn with the Dravot Group. Combined army is now on Infintiy Deathmatch TAG Raid.
