Bolt Action: Japanese Type 98 AA Gun
Warlord Games haben endlich mal wieder etwas neues für die Japaner in ihrem Shop.

The Japanese had a variety of large-calibre anti-aircraft guns, none of which really enter into the realm of the tabletop wargame. Smaller 20mm calibre weapons were supplemented by pintle-mounted machine guns of various types.
The Type 98 20 mm AA machine cannon was the most common automatic light anti-aircraft cannon used by the Japanese in World War II. It was based on a Hotchkiss design and was introduced in 1938. A more sophisticated weapon was the Type 2 of 1942 based on the German Flak 38 with a central fire-control mechanism and sometimes fitted in a dual mount.
An experienced crew could deploy it in about three minutes or set up and fire, albeit inaccurately, from its wheels.

Kommt für mich persönlich zwar zu spät, da ich mir dieses spezielle Geschütz schon von Company B zugelegt habe, aber es ist schön, dass die Japaner auch mal wieder neue Sachen bekommen.
Ein Typ 89 Panzer wäre mal sehr schön.
Type 89B wäre eine gute Sache, Type 1 Ho-Ki tracked APC als Truppentransporter könnte auch gefallen finden.
Ho-Kis gibt es von einem britischen Kleinserienhersteller bei Ebay.
Gibt ja auch den Typ 89, aber der von Company B sieht m.M.n. nicht gar so gut aus, und Trenchworx hat das ganz frühe Modell A, und außerdem keinen europäischen Vertrieb.
Bei en Japanern fehlt bei Bolt Action noch so einiges, selbst wenn man andere Hersteller als Warlord mit einbezieht.
Mir gefällt der Type 89 von Company B auch nicht besonders.
Mir wäre es halt lieber wenn Warlord Games noch ein paar Fahrzeuge für die
Japaner anbieten würde. Type 5 Chi-Ri würde mir auch gefallen als Modell.
Bei den Japanern lässt sich sicher noch einiges machen.
