Spartan Games: Diverse Neuheiten im März

Von Spartan Games rollt ein ganzer Schwung Neuheiten für Firestorm Invasion, Firestorm Armada, Dystopian Legion und Dystopian Wars an.

Firestorm Invasion

Dindrenzi Federation Firepower Leviathan Helix – 55,00 GBP

SG_Firestorm Planetfall Dindrenzi Firepower Leviathan Helix

The Hyperion Leviathan perfectly exemplifies the mindset of the Federation forces – that of the fast assault aggressor. Rugged and dependable, the Leviathan is capable of sustaining tremendous punishment during its military operations across the Firestorm Galaxy. The humanoid design is intended to exemplify the ‘human perfection through adversity’ strategic thinking of the Dindrenzi, as well as deliver terrifying proof of the ‘superiority of man’.

The devastating vehicle is armed with two arm-mounted Mangonel-VII Titan Cannons – a new design that permits the tracking of targets over a far greater range without adversely affecting the Leviathan’s power supply.

In addition, the Hyperion has a shoulder rack fitted with Estock Flak Launchers, allowing the war machine to defend large areas of the battlefield with an umbrella of anti-air fire. The Hyperion is also fitted with a Nexus Designator, secreted within the command centre in the war machine’s head. This serves to support the rest of the Dindrenzi drop assets that are waiting for their turn to prove themselves in the maelstrom of battle.

The Firepower Leviathan Helix may also find itself supported by up to two squadrons of Leto Light Tanks. These are specially modified to permit the vehicles to drop from low orbit into the thick of the action. Ordinarily these vehicles execute a light reconnaissance role in the Dindrenzi battle formations, however the modified Letos in the Firepower Helix are more likely to find themselves in close support of their command element, assaulting targets that attempt to engage the war machine’s flanks.

  • 1 Hyperion Class Leviathan
  • 10 Leto Light Recon Tanks
  • 1 Drop Site Marker

Terran Alliance Firepower Leviathan Helix – 55,00 GBP

SG_Firestorm Planetfall Terran Allianz Firepower Leviathan Helix

The Odin Class Leviathan advances through the battlefield shrugging off all bar the most concerted attacks using a combination of heavy armour and overlapping shield technology. Armed with a powerful G-72 Legacy Laser, this Terran war machine is one of the most powerful vehicle killers in the Firestorm Galaxy – woe betide the enemy that presents its flank to this behemoth!

In addition to its main armament, the Odin also carries a powerful Shrike Heavy Rotor Gun for engaging aerial threats and a number of body mounted Heavy Raptor Grenade Launchers for overwhelming dug-in enemy Infantry at short range.

Finally, the Odin has the ability to execute Artillery Attacks using a Nexus Designator. Whilst only short range, the Odin frequently uses the attack to defend itself from approaching foes by calling down the attack upon itself!…. shrugging off the damage and destroying any remnants of surrounding foes with a combination of grenades and close quarters battle.

Terran Firepower Leviathan Helix are commonly supported by up to two Squadrons of Valkyrie Light Tanks. These are used to capture objectives close to their command element, and operate best in close support with other elements in a Terran Alliance battle line.

  • 1 Odin Class Leviathan
  • 10 Valkyrie Light Recon Tanks

The Directorate Firepower Leviathan Helix – 55,00 GBP

SG_Firestorm Planetfall The Directorate Firepower Leviathan Helix

The Wraith cuts a solitary figure as it drifts across the battlefields of a myriad of world in the Firestorm Galaxy. At a glance the huge flying Leviathan might seem to be lightly armed, but nothing could be further from the truth. Using a combination of underslung plasma cannons and flamethrowers, the offensive potential of the Wraith is more than a match for any other Leviathan on the battlefield.

However, it is through its tactical flexibility that the Wraith proves its true worth in the heat of battle. Mounted within its superstructure is a transported Armoured Personnel Carrier – the Haunter. The Haunter performs two roles for the Directorate: firstly, it acts as a transport that can safely bring in a powerful cadre of Patriot Light Infantry who have been organised into what is known as a Grand Company. Secondly, the Haunter emits a powerful short range radio transmission that interfaces with nearby Directorate Infantry via a neural link, making them even more aggressive and bloodthirsty in battle!

Upon delivering its payload, the Haunter moves to a position of relative safety to continue its broadcast, bringing the nearby Directorate troops to a point of battlefield frenzy. The Grand Companies of the Directorate are far larger than their standard Patriot Cadres, and are frequently sent into battle-zones where the fighting is expected to be especially fierce. Attrition is expected and factored by Directorate Commanders.

  • 1 Wraith Class Leviathan
  • 1 Haunter Armoured Personnel Carrier
  • 8 Patriot Infantry Bases

Firestorm Armada

RSN Cruiser Group – 24,50 GBP

Spartan Games_Firestorm Armada RSN Cruiser Group

A lethal terror weapon, squadrons of RSN Shrike Class Cruisers send a shiver of fear through commanders across all of the Kurak-controlled territories – and some Zenian ones too! Designed to be undetectable, running silent on deep insertion missions, Shrikes can unleash a flurry of advanced torpedoes that hit home seconds before they are detected. When cornered, they can unleash plasma batteries that can melt a battleship’s steel heart in minutes, before vanishing into the darkness of space once more.

Hellhound Class Cruisers, on the other hand, are an overt symbol of RSN might – with kinetic firepower to shame even the most deadly Dindrenzi vessel, and plasma batteries to tackle approaching threats. Hellhound crews often feel they have something to prove, meaning these deadly vessels will often pursue their prey with a vicious bloodlust, earning them a well-deserved reputation for mercilessness.

  • 3 Cruiser Hulls
  • parts to make either 3 Shrike Class Cruisers or 3 Hellhound Class Heavy Cruisers

RSN Destroyer & Frigate Group – 28,00 GBP

Spartan Games_Firestorm Armada RSN Destroyer & Frigate

Sporting a fearfully powerful plasma cannon, backed by substantial arrays of torpedoes with multiple decoy systems, squadrons of RSN Firebird Class Destroyers ensure any race that breaches RSN doctrine are dealt with swiftly and harshly. Their stealthy design and sensor ghosting technology ensure they always have the first – and likely the last – word in an engagement.

Hellion Class Frigates are the workhorses of the RSN, and are often also deployed within Dindrenzi fleets, providing broad cover for capital ships. This both increases the effectiveness of those forces, and gives the RSN eyes and ears in operations beyond their own.

  • 3 Firebird Class Destroyers
  • 4 Hellion Class Frigates

Prussian Grenadiers are typically equipped with the reliable M69 Rifle, a solid and reliable small arm that sees wide use in the Prussian army, a good performer at short range, but still able to fire a deadly volley at distance.

Prussian Grenadiers, typically burly men and women with a proud Germanic heritage, are renowned for their ability and ferocity in melee, and a charging Section of Prussian Grenadiers with their iconic double-bayonet are enough to strike a chill into the heart of any enemy.

Prussian Empire Heroes of the Empire Set – 22,00 GBP

Spartan Games_Dystopian Legions Prussian Empire Heroes of the Empire

The Heroes of the Empire are the stalwart men and women won inspire the nation. Poems are written in their honour, songs sung, and stories told. Grizzled veterans or daring soldiers, they have risen through their own genius to the greatness of ‘hero’. Long may they serve the Empire, long may they inspire the people, and long may they stand to give the enemy a damned good thrashing! The Prussian Empire Heroes of the Empire Set includes the following miniatures:

Oberst Werner Hahl and Gluklich – Rarely has the battlefield been graced by such a true artist of combat, a ferocious enemy to all those who would dare to stand against the might of the Prussian Empire. A brilliant commander of men, tireless and brave, Oberst is a firm believer in leading from the front. Seriously wounded in a violent explosion that lost him his arm, and the hind quarters of his faithful pet Gluklich, Oberst is now even more a terrifying opponent, able to smash his enemies, and even tear enemy Ironclads to pieces. Accompanied by his faithful pet Gluklich, mascot of the Grenadier Sections that serve loyally under Oberst, he is truly an enemy to be feared.

Gluklich, from his early days as a puppy, had a special place in the heart of his mighty owner and the men and women who served under him. Torn to pieces by the explosion that forever changed his master, Gluklich was lovingly tended and repaired with the latest technologies Prussian scientists could manage. If he was a deadly hound before, like his master, he has only increased in ferocity and power!

Professor Gustardt and Siegfried – Brilliant engineer, inventor, scientist and polymath, Professor Gustardt has a special fascination for electricity. Responsible for countless improvements to the tesla weaponry of the Prussians, Gustardt became obsessed with the potential of utilising Tesla weaponry to dominate the land war. To that effect he has experimented with his own special creations – the Telsa Gauntlets, a weapon of terrifying potential, both for the wearer and the enemy. Blessed as it seems with more lives than a litter of kittens, Gustardt has endured more electrical shocks than anyone still standing, and what’s more, he claims it hasn’t affected him at all!

Siegfried is the ever faithful servant of Gustardt. Handling the controls of the Amplified Stabilisation Actuator, he provides his master with the surges in power he demands. With a slight limp, and a fear of anything that explodes with light and energy, Siegfried nonetheless toils after his master, and together they are capable of inflicting wanton damage on an unprecedented scale!

Kingdom of Britannia Infantry Officer Set – 22,00 GBP

Spartan Games_Dystopian Legions Kingdom of Britannia Infantery Officer Pack

The Kingdom of Britannia has territories spread across the globe, and is an Empire unlike any seen before. If you ask at the local gentleman’s club as to why this is, it will be explained it is because of the courage of men and the superiority of the officers.

Infantry Officers are the backbone of every army; whether operating on their own or with a select section of guards, their insight, experience, courage and ability is so often the difference between victory and defeat! The fine men and women that make up the Officer Corps of the Kingdom of Britannia are almost universally drawn from aristocratic stock.

  • 2 Infantry Officers
  • 5 Line Infantry
  • 1 Musician
  • 1 TAC Deck

Kingdom of Britannia Line Infantry Set – 26,50 GBP

Spartan Games_Dystopian Legions Kingdom of Britannia Line Infantery Pack

The Kingdom of Britannia is renowned for the discipline and training of its forces, and its ground forces most especially for their ability to maintain a steady stream of fire even under the most difficult of circumstances.

A backbone of hardy professional Line Infantry makes up the Britannian core forces. These riflemen are a mixture of well-trained professional soldiers and highly motivated volunteers. The Britannian infantry has a formidable reputation for marksmanship, being able to put out as much firepower with their single-shot Martini-Metfords as other soldiers can with repeating weapons.

  • 1 NCO
  • 10 Linemen

Kingdom of Britannia Line Infantry Expansion Set – 40,00 GBP

Spartan Games_Dystopian Legions Infantery Expansasion Pack

From the steady drum beat of the Musician, to the heat and destruction of the MkII Flamethrower, or the terrifying Nordenfeldt MkV HMG, the Kingdom of Britannia is ready to take the field!

This boxed set is designed to be used in conjunction with the Kingdom of Britannia Linemen Section Box, and allows both boxes in concert to create any of the backbone Sections of a Kingdom of Britannia army, from Battle Line Sections, to Assault Sections, to HMG Sections and Support Sections.

Vital in maintaining discipline, and providing leadership and courage, the NCO, especially when supported by a Musician, is often the backbone of a Section, able to maintain the line in the face of deadly assault, or leading by example as the Section charges forward. The Brunel-Nordenfelt is a piece of engineering renowned across the world for its extreme range and withering firepower. A multi-barrelled volley gun with a thick gun shield to protect its valuable crew, this HMG exemplifies the sturdy, reliable nature of Britannian design.

Reasoning that a sheet of flame is one of the best ways of making sure the enemy stays well away, engineer Sydney Haskins of the Royal Ordnance Works perfected his flamethrower design with the Mark III. It is nicknamed the ‘Ricardo’ after his Italian-born engineering assistant, who had the unenviable task of live-testing Haskin’ designs! The Mark III was a resounding success, and was quickly issued to the Britannian infantry regiments. In battle, the flamethrower operators shelter amid the ranks of the riflemen.

  • 1 NCO
  • 3 MkIII Flamethrower Specialists
  • 1 Musician Attachment
  • 3 Heavy Machine Gun teams

Kingdom of Britannia Heroes of the Empire Set – 27,00 GBP

Spartan Games_Dystopian Legions Kingdom of Brittania Heroes of the Empire

The Heroes of the Empire are the stalwart men and women who inspire the nation. Poems are written in their honour, songs sung, and stories told. Grizzled veterans or daring soldiers, they have risen through their own genius to the greatness of ‘hero’ Long may they serve the Empire, long may they inspire the people, and long may they stand to give the enemy a damned good thrashing! The Kingdom of Britannia Heroes of the Empire Box includes the following miniatures:

Colonel Sinjon Hector ‘Big’ MacDonald and Jenkins – Colonel MacDonald is an institution in his own right; a feared general of the Kingdom of Britannia. Although technically retired, ‘Big’ MacDonald was offered a front line commission because his bulldog spirit and ferocity couldn’t be confined to a General Staffing position. Riding in his specially constructed armoured wheelchair, Colonel MacDonald is often flanked by his loyal Black Watch, and always accompanied by his Gentlemen’s Gentleman: Jenkins.

Jenkins, for his part, is a collected and calm reflection of MacDonald’s explosive image, and equally as responsible for the Colonel’s oeuvre. A true gentleman’s gentleman, Jenkin’s is the subject of awe among even MacDonald’s Blackwatch. As calm as MacDonald is fiery, and less perturbed by a rocket barrage exploding nearby, as he decants his master’s single malt, than he is by besmirched uniform, the two make a truly fearsome partnership.

Captain Gilbert ‘Bertie’ Smethington and Betty – There are few individuals that can flounce around the battlefield and back it up with the sort of daring-do that makes Robin Hood’s adventures seem like a musty dull tome. Tales of his exploits are legend even before his bullet-ridden plane lands, and the daring, dashing heroism they speak of is never anything short of a buttock-clenching roller-coaster of excitement, danger and thrills. He writes his own adventure story, and it’s written with a pen most titans would struggle to wield.

Accompanying Bertie on his adventures is the equally enchanting Betty, appointed by the war-office as a writer to journal this great hero’s exploits she has seen more than her fair share of action, and her correspondence detailing their escapades has become a staple of bed stands and side tables everywhere in the kingdom. If Bertie is a dashing hero the nation can aspire to, Betty is the artist that has framed his glory, and citizens the Britannian Empire over hang on her every word, waiting between instalments for the latest great adventure.

The arrival of aerial mobility to Black Wolf forces makes them an even more dangerous foe to fight off, both as a standalone force or as mercenaries hired by the various nations of the Dystopian World.
