Godslayer: Banebrood Ursapine
Ein wirklich schräger Bär verstärkt die Reihen der Banebrood.
During the Baneplague there were an almost infinite number of different creatures formed by the pathogenic curse. One of those was the Ursapine. In appearance it looks like a great bear with hundreds of needle-sharp quills covering its back.
Although they are heavy, weighing around 1500 lbs (700kg), they possess tremendous muscle mass and can run as fast as a bear – easily catching a sprinting man.
Its main weapons are its claws and fangs, but it can also shoot its quills which are filled with a poisonous gas. Perhaps most disturbing is the Ursapine’s toxic blood, which is so acidic that it melts flesh.
Ursapines can effectively curl into a protective ball, splaying their pines outward. This is sometimes combined with a lethal maneuver as they bound towards an enemy, and then plough through them in a curled ball. The momentum alone can kill a victim who is struck, added to this is the additional danger posed by 1 ft long hard spikes dripping poison.

Muppets Show???Der schaut schräg aus.
Das Modell gefällt mir gar nicht. Es hat etwas von einem kuscheligen Teddybär.
Das Model ist ganz hübsch. Sieht aber irgendwie wie ein Tanzbär aus dem Zirkus aus. Ist ein wenig zu süß geraten, auch wenn es eigentlich ein ganz netter Sculpt ist.
Knuffig.
Ob das nun zur Banebrood passt, sei dahingestellt.
Die Frage ist, wie wirkt er neben einem normalen Menschen oder sogar Zwerg. Immerhin ist er laut Bild 70mm gross. Etwas finsterer bekommt man die Miniatur auch durcg eine entsprechende Bemalung denke ich. Mir als Banebrood Spieler gefällt er, nicht so wild in der Pose wie erwartet aber gut so.
Mir ist der auch etwas zu knuffig geraten 😉
Ich hab’s befürchtet, das der nix wird. Die Illustration und den Fluff fand ich schon mau – eine Mischung zwischen Stachelschwein und Bär? Ogottogott, da konnte ja nix Gutes bei ‚rumkommen.

Tja leider auch das erste Modell der Banebrood das mir nicht gefällt, schade eigentlich.
