Von 3D Alien Worlds kommt ein neues Geländestück für den 3D Drucker, der Taui Teleporter.

Styled in distinctive rounded shapes, this teleporter is perfect for hi-tech and advanced sci-fi alien settings.
The teleporter measures 150mm x 100mm (6″ x 4″), with a height of 105mm (4″). The central ‚pad‘ area is 73mm (3″) wide, and a variety of different designs have been included (hexagons and geometric layouts), which can be arranged to suit your needs and to customise your terrain.
This hollow terrain piece has been designed with clear PLA filaments in mind. The outer walls are approximately 2mm thick, and by printing in your choice of clear or colour-tinted 3D printer filament, you can easily add lighting effects with clusters of LED lights inside the structure. Please see the photos of the painted model for examples.
No print supports are required for this model, except the optional console. The console can be located anywhere on the rim of the central pad, and also has a hole for adding an LED inside the display.

* Although various geometric shapes are included for motif elements, allowing you to customise your models as you wish in your chosen arrangement, we would, however, ask you not to arrange elements in designs that may be viewed as trademarked icons of third parties. This product will be delivered as a .ZIP file pack containing STL files for use on a home 3D Printer. The files are set to 28mm scale but can be rescaled before printing.
- All of the parts of this file can be printed on a 3D printer build plate of 125mm x 125mm.
- All parts have manifold (3D-printable geometry) and have been test printed.
- Models designed for 28mm (1:58 scale) wargaming, but can be resized for other scales on your printer.

Naja, eines muss man diesem Geländestück lassen, es ist billiger als unser Bügeleisen. Dafür kann es aber nicht die Falten aus den Hemden machen…
…mir fehlt für das Teil gerade eine Idee zur Verwendung im Spiel. Schlicht als Gelände ginge zwar auch, aber so ein Personal-Teleporter könnte auch für ein Flucht-Szenario herhalten.
Als Access-Point jedoch zu klein: es passt ja gerade mal ein Infanterist drauf. Ein Kampfanzug würde wohl nicht mehr zwischen die Bögen passen. Für eine größere Scalierung schaut das Teil wiederum nicht detailliert genug aus. Hm….
Ich habe zwar nur einen Flüssigharzdrucker, aber beim Slicen kann ich die Größe der Elemente ändern – auch prozentual. Das sollte man doch auch bei einem Filamentdrucker können, oder nicht?

Kannst du theoretisch in allen Größen drucken, die deine Hardware hergibt.
Mit ein bisschen Nacharbeit am .stl könnte ich die Teleportersäulen parallel ausrichten und das ganze als Windgenerator für meine Infinity Wüstenplatte nehmen. Sähe dann ähnlich aus wie im alten Dune-Pc Spiel… hach, längs ist es her 🙂
