• By January 2012 we will have released all of the combat models detailed in the Dystopian Wars Master Rulebook
• As I’m sure you are aware, we are always reviewing the contents of our rulebooks and as we near the time for a new print run of the Dystopian Wars Master Rulebook, this review process has become even more focused. As such, the new print run will include all current errata and a review of some of the current wording in the rules text
• Additionally we will use this chance to re-check the current point and stat values of certain models. This is NOT a wholesale alteration of the Nations, but it is important for us to make adjustments we feel are warranted for gameplay

Chapterhouse Studio haben ein neues Modell vorgestellt. Das Javelin Class Imperial Jet Bike:
It has been a little while since our last release. We have been hard at work at Chapterhouse Studios, looking for the next toy to release for the Heresy Era 40k players. I am happy to show the Javelin Class Jet Bike.
This multi-part customizable resin kit contains 8 resin components. We have included 2 engine options, this will allow you to make a regular and a scout version of the Javelin Jet Bike. We also included 2 different bolt gun mounts that will allow the addition of different special weapons (plasma, melta, grenade launchers etc). These conveniently fit our combi-weapon conversion bits.
Also included in the kit are a set of legs and arms that will allow you to use other companies torsos and heads to model a rider. Flight stand will be included.
Our target price for the Javelin Jet Bike is $14.00 and the release will be on November 5th.

Es war etwas ruhig hier die letzten Monate, aber das aus gutem Grund: wir haben an einer neuen Reihe postapokalyptischer Blechbuden und passendem Zubehör gearbeitet, und freuen uns, die ersten Bausätze präsentieren zu können. Die neuen Wellblechhütten sind um Einiges vielseitiger und modularer als die bisherige Reihe (die natürlich weiterhin erhältlich sein wird), und sehen dabei noch baufälliger aus.
Insgesamt gibt es vier verschiedene Hütten, eine für 11,50 Euro, zwei für jeweils 22 Euro und ein großes Gebäude für 31,50 Euro:

Die Gerüchte besagen hier, dass es kleine Kontigente, Söldnereinheiten für Warhammer erscheinen sollen. Der obige Text spricht von Arabia, Kislev, Estalia und einem Insektenvolk.

Die Einheiten der Kislev sollen also teilweise aus alten Modellen bestehen, zumindest die Pferde werden allerdings erneuert.
Maybe I misread it, but I thought Ghost was talking about a separate allies book with rules for Araby, Kislev, Tilea and the „Insectoids“ (sounds alot like what some fans have been suggesting for a DoW replacement). AFAIK it had nothing to do with the forthcoming Empire release except to say that Kislev won’t be in there.
Dieses Gerücht besagt sogar weitergehend, dass für die Zusatzeinheiten ein eigenes Regelbuch erscheinen soll. Der Schreiber spricht allerdings auch davon, dass sich die nächsten Veröffentlichungen des Imperiums keine Einheiten der Kislev enthalten werden.

Das Erweiterungsbuch für Söldner soll somit verschiedene Einheiten enthalten. 2 gute Fraktionen, eine neutrale und zwei Böse. Chaoszwerge bleiben aber wohl bei Warhammer Forge zuhause.

I can perhaps contribute. Some concepts on Araby were finished around 5 months ago, I though they were just for dreadfleet but nothing of what was described to me ended up in the book/game. I must say from what I was told what was seen certainly didn’t imply a ‚good‘ faction. I wouldn’t be suprised at all to see them expanded upon further.
Teile der Erweiterung für Arabia war wohl bereits für Dreadfleet geplant, wurde aber nie integriert. Offensichtlich ist die Arabia Fraktion aber keine Fraktion der „Guten“, sondern dürfte einer der zwei bösen Fraktionen werden.

Dieses Gerücht ist eines der detailliertesten: Ein Zauberer aus Arabia soll zusammen mit einem Harem und weiblichen Haremswächtern erscheinen. Außerdem soll es einen Dschinn geben. Jede Fraktion in dem Buch soll aus 3-4 Einheiten und 1-2 Charaktermodellen bestehen. Laut diesem Gerücht soll Arabia aber eine neutrale Fraktion sein.

I have also seen a concept sketch for an ‚Ichthyus sapien‘ from Mr Blanche … He showed it to me over a year ago … I thought he had shown it to me just to yank my chain … but now I’m not so sure.

Spartan Games haben ihr neues Flaggschiff für die menschliche Fraktion der „Imperial Humans“ bei Uncharted Seas vorgestellt. Die Condor-Klasse ersetzt das bisherige Flaggschiff als Resculpt:
This majestic Imperial Human Condor Class Flagship has speed, grace and punch. With its sails fully unfurled you can just imagine the Admiral of this vessel issuing orders as his highly trained gunners shatter the hull of another enemy ship. As you can see the Condor is the first Imperial vessel to use steam technology. When sailing at speed using its sails the vessel uses a Large Template, but when slowing to use its steam engines the Condor gains the benefit of increased manoeuvrability, and so uses a Medium Template.
