Ahoi everyone!

Today I have some very important news for all you guys out there following Megalith Games and Godslayer.

As you know, I have invested a lot of time and passion in creating Godslayer over the past years, and I would gladly continue with that journey, but I am afraid that I have to tell you that I have recently resigned from Megalith Games as a managing director. But don´t panic! There´s a solution!

First let me explain why it has come to that decision:
Megalith needs a single leader to avoid the deadlock in some issues which we have recently experienced. Managing a company with two equal leaders is not so easy, especially when both are so passionate about the success of the company with their own vision. For that reason I am stepping down as partner and co-director.

Since David and I are both really dedicated to Megalith Games and have spent countless hours on developing all that comes with Godslayer, this was no easy decision to be made! But we have agreed that this is the best solution for the both of us and the company’s sake.

While David is continuing to successfully run Megalith Games, I will have the full license to produce other games based in the Godslayer universe, such as board games and card games. This way it will allow us to produce more content for the Godslayer universe – David with Megalith Games, and I with my board games company Voodoo Games. We are parting on good terms, and we are determined to continue a positive, successful collaboration for the future.

I will surely miss being part of Megalith Games but having the chance to continue working on a miniatures board game for Godslayer is great comfort for me and I won´t lose all the work I have put in this project.

Megalith Games - Godslayer

I hope that you can understand our decision and that you will continue to support Megalith Games as much as you did in the past years! Of course we have to rearrange a few things but we will try to manage this without causing any delays in the development of Godslayer.

My role in the company has been strongly focussed on the development of the core rules system and game balancing, as well as all graphic design and web-related tasks, packing and shipping. The rules have been complete already for several years, and the graphic and web tasks will be outsourced, shipping will be managed by David our a possible new partner for the company.

David will take care of everything and is determined to continue with this journey even more dedicated then ever! So we think it is a positive move for everyone concerned, including all you Godslayer players.

I would like to take this chance to thank you all for your awesome support in the past years! I have had the chance to meet a lot of dedicated players in person and it was an awesome experience seeing Godslayer come to live! I will surely miss all that but I also have the hope that we can shift part of the fun and your support over to Voodoo Games so that we can develop another great game in the Godslayer universe! So thank you all so much!!! Maybe our ways cross once again!

As a last note, David and I have agreed the next steps that David should undertake to continue with a successful game before I resigned:

• Developing the releases for wave 2 (test-players will soon receive revised profiles of all wave-2 minis).
• Launching a marketing campaign aimed at expanding the number of Godslayer players greatly.
• Preparing a Battlebox for Godslayer which will contain a Halodynes and Banebrood warband as well as a printed core rules.
• Re-sculpting some weaker early miniatures from our range and adding additional troopers for starter-box units.
• Upgrading kits to reduce parts and replace thin spears as well as using new casting techniques and better metal.
• Developing campaigns and other rules additions.

So hopefully the future is still bright for the Godslayer universe!.

I really hope you guys out there are not too shocked by that news and that you understand our decision. Thanks for all the great years and your understanding!

Prost!
