Augmentations are rough by corporate standards but brutally effective, calibrated to keep bodies moving long after regulations would declare them unfit for use. Every clan carries its own scars, its own grudges, and its own rules—but all of them understand momentum. Stop moving, and the ash swallows you.

To Sleepless City, the Ash Nomads are a rumor, a cautionary tale told in security briefings and late-night feeds. To corporations, they’re an irritation—or a tool, depending on the contract. But to anyone who’s been forced beyond the city limits, they are living proof that survival doesn’t require approval.
