IGNITION:CORE is a low model count, compact miniatures skirmish game featuring anime style fighting robots competing to hold ground in the desperate sci fi setting of Isalia.

Hey all. You have followed us faithfully since the beginning, so I wanted to make sure you were the first to know. The upcoming gamefound campaign will re-launch IGNITION:CORE in 15mm scale. This means that our human figures will be approximately 15-18mm tall.

Why is the scale of the game changing?

The current scale of the game’s miniatures makes resin miniatures costly and plastic miniatures virtually impossible for a boutique company of our size. Reducing the scale allows us to provide a more affordable and accessible entry point to the game. But cost isn’t the only reason!

We have also designed this updated version of IGNITION:CORE with an emphasis on portability and minimizing required tablespace. The reduced scale makes it so that two fireteams, battlefield, terrain, and rules all fit in a single box. Making it perfect for events and game night at a friend’s or local game store. And that’s not the only reason either!

Reducing the scale of the miniatures allows us to increase the scope of the game. There is a whole universe of mech and unit concepts and game play options that we have dreamed up that will now be achievable thanks to the reduced scale.

This is our biggest shake-up to Ignition:Core to date. We are excited to be able to bring Ignition:Core to more people, and to significantly lower the cost-bar for entry, while packing more content (everything you need to play, including gameboard, terrain, dice, physical cards etc.) into our starter boxes.
