MARCH FANTASY RELEASE
Hello everyone! Today we’re in a particularly good mood, and we hope you’re having a great day as well.
The air is getting warmer, the days are growing longer, and it finally feels like the cold grip of winter is loosening. Spring is just around the corner, and with it comes a burst of energy here at the studio.
This month we even managed to surprise ourselves: the Fantasy release is already finished and ready to go in the first days of the month! That doesn’t happen very often. We’re not entirely sure whether our excitement comes from getting the release out earlier than usual, or from the brighter skies and warmer weather—but either way, the result is the same.
So, let’s dive in and take a look at the models to see what all the excitement is about!
March comes with 28 new models for the Wyrkhalla and the Exiled Court armies.
The Silent Fang regiment is formed from the finest hunters of the Wyrkhalla tribes. These expert marksmen adorn their towering bows with the trophies of past kills—skulls, bones, and fangs taken from their prey. Their lighter frames may seem unassuming at first glance, but beneath that lean build lies coiled strength. With powerful, disciplined muscles, they can loose arrows that fly far beyond the reach of any human archer.
The Silent Fangs are often accompanied in battle by small packs of Murkhowls. These ferocious predators move in perfect harmony with the hunters’ tactics, striking where the enemy is weakest. As foes scramble to evade the massive arrows raining down upon them, the Murkhowls surge forward, tearing into light infantry and swift cavalry alike, spreading chaos through already broken lines.
Moving on to the Exiled Court models, you will be able to field a thematic army centered around Azrakan’s progeny thanks to his wives and their daughters.
The Blood Daughters are a regiment of ancient vampire noblewomen who have traded courtly intrigue for the brutal discipline of the battlefield. Clad in heavy plate armor darkened by centuries of war, they march as an unbreakable line at the heart of many undead hosts. Their presence brings both elegance and terror to the field, for beneath their noble bearing lies a predatory hunger sharpened by countless battles.
Armed with long spears and trained to fight shoulder to shoulder, the Blood Daughters form an impenetrable wall of steel. Charging cavalry often shatters against their disciplined ranks, impaled upon a forest of spearpoints before ever reaching striking distance. Their armor, crafted to withstand even the fiercest blows, allows them to hold the line where lesser warriors would falter.
Yet their warfare is not only one of blade and armor. Given their defensive role, the regiment’s musicians carry great cellos instead of the traditional war drums or horns. From these instruments they draw slow, mournful melodies that drift across the battlefield like a funeral dirge. The haunting music gnaws at the resolve of their enemies, filling mortal hearts with dread and despair even before the Blood Daughters close in to claim their prey.
Where the Blood Daughters stand, the line does not break.
Among the many dread nobles of the Exiled Court, few command as much fear—or fascination—as Azrakan, a lord whose appetites for power, conquest, and sensation are as boundless as his fury in battle. A being of towering pride and violent passions, Azrakan surrounds himself only with those capable of matching his intensity. Nowhere is this more evident than in the chosen companions who stand at his side.
Known collectively as Azrakan’s Brides, these vampiric consorts are far more than mere adornments to their lord’s court. Each was selected for a rare and dangerous talent: unmatched martial prowess, mastery of dark sorcery, supernatural speed, or an uncanny gift for manipulation and intrigue. Though united by their loyalty to Azrakan, they are strikingly different from one another—each embodying a distinct aspect of the predatory elegance that defines the Exiled Court.
In battle they move with deadly grace, clad in ornate armor and wielding weapons as refined and lethal as their own immortal instincts. Their presence at Azrakan’s side transforms the battlefield into a stage for calculated slaughter, where enemies are dismantled with chilling precision and aristocratic poise.
It is rare to see the Brides apart from their lord. When Azrakan rides to war, they form his inner circle of protectors and executioners, striking down any who dare approach the master of the Exiled Court. Yet on occasion, when subtlety or secrecy is required, Azrakan dispatches one of them to lead small contingents on delicate missions—assassinations, covert raids, or the recovery of relics too valuable to entrust to lesser servants.
Where one of Azrakan’s Brides walks, the will of their lord follows close behind… and the night itself seems to lean in anticipation of blood.
