FDM Area Terrain Template and Hills Release

Dear All,

I have just released a new terrain pack, this one is designed only for FDM printers (yes I got a new toy and I have been enjoying the Bambu nature of it). The set contains stl files to print area terrain and hills, including built up areas, fields, forests and well – hills. The Forest and built-up area templates feature markers that help make it clear when a stand is more or less than 2cm into the terrain. I have included in the set some tessellating terrain features. To this end I have also updated both the Dry stone wall files and the river and road set files with versions of these assets that conform to the curves that I have used in this set. Hopefully this will help facilitate scenery that meshes better on the tabletop.

This set is not designed for Resin printers!

The 10mm FDM Terrain Area template set contains files to print area terrain templates and hills. Included are:

• 3 two tier hills
• 6 one tier hill (elements derived from the two tier hills)
• 10 Built up area templates (including 6 with road sections that can be integrated with the roads set sold separately)
• 10 Forrest templates (including 3 with road sections that can be integrated with the roads set sold separately)
• 13 Filed templates

In addition to all the above are tessellation templates (4 for fields, 3 for forests, 2 for built up areas and eight for Hills) These templates are designed to fit together to allow larger or integrated terrain features.

Built up area and forest templates have markers placed 2cm from their edges that help clarity on models being within 2cm of the edge of the terrain piece.

All models are self supporting. Please note that all printers have their own specifications and requirements, so check that you are happy before printing.

The largest pieces in this set measure 253mm x 253 mm The tallest part is less than 30mm (double tier hills).

Photographed prints were printed on a Bambu P2S with a layer height of 0.24mm and 0.4mm high flow nozzle. But up area mats require multiple and rapid retractions and translations, older printers may struggle with these files.
