Atomic Mass Games announces strategic focus on key game lines to strengthen core portfolio and support long-term growth.

Seattle, WA– Feb 24th, 2026 – Atomic Mass Games (AMG), the asmodee studio dedicated to miniatures games, today announced a strategic focus on several key game lines. AMG will focus its support on its flagship titles and realign its resources towards these priorities, involving adjustments to the Studio’s organizational structure. As part of this restructuring, the studio will now be led by Co-Heads of Studio Will Shick and Brandon Anderson.

A stronger focus on flagship games.

A key driver of the reorganization is to allow Atomic Mass Games to enhance focus on its flagship titles, Star Wars™: Legion and Marvel: Crisis Protocol, delivering the depth, innovation, and high-quality gameplay experiences that players expect. As part of this realignment, Atomic Mass Games’ Star Wars™: Shatterpoint product line will be transitioning into a specialist core game line. As a specialist game, Shatterpoint will continue to be supported to ensure consistent availability and the highest level of gameplay experience possible by AMG, while streamlining the number of releases to align with the restructured development resources of the studio.

These shifts will enable AMG to redirect investment and talent towards continuing to grow and expand Legion following its successful second edition launch in Fall of 2025 with both new expansions focusing on the game’s four main factions, as well as exploring bringing new sub-factions to the game such as was done with the Shadow Collective in 2022. In addition to expanding the number and type of forces within the game, this new focus will be key in AMG’s ability to introduce new gameplay expansions such as the skirmish game mode Special Operations and the recently announced large scale game mode Full Scale War as new supporting product types.
AMG’s other flagship game, Crisis Protocol will also see significant benefit including a renewed focus on consistent and compelling product expansions drawing from the breadth of the Marvel© Universe, as well as several next generation initiatives which look to expand the reach of the brand to new players and audiences.

As part of its forward-looking strategy, the studio will continue exploring new ways to engage players, including potential new market opportunities and innovative distribution models, while maintaining strong relationships with retailers and partners who are essential ambassadors for the hobby.
