We’re sorry for publishing the trailer so late. Here in Grancanaria we had an incredible storm, the power went out several times during the day and we were without internet for hours. For now we managed to upload everything using a phone, definitely not ideal for timing, but we made it 🙂

I’ll keep this description short before the storm knocks the power out again, and I’ll attach several work in progress shots I captured this month while sculpting the Vanara for you.

For months I wanted to dive into something completely new, and I’m truly excited to finally show you these simian warriors. The Vanara are ascetic fighters, monks and sentinels who wield staffs, javelins and naginata, battling the Oni on the island of Kanabo, far to the East of Aera.

As you can see in the trailer, they ride spiritual dragons that they are able to materialize through deep meditation.

It was fantastic working on both heroes, the warrior monk Wunakar and the mighty gorilla guardian Gorazen, but my favorite character of the set is without a doubt Zhaolun, the great Elder Dragon. Serpentine, ancient and cunning, I imagine him speaking in riddles while calmly smoking his celestial pipe.

I can’t wait to see what you create with this kit and to admire your paintjobs.
