Step into the old wilds with the fearsome Primeval warbeast of Khador Old Umbrey.

The ancient guardians of the old wood survived in folktales. Whenever a child was lost, a hunter had success, or a predator emerged from the woods, grandmothers were quick to blame or thank the Primeval by one of its innumerable names.

Some tales said they were lost spirits, cursed to wander. Some claimed they were druids who had fully embraced their devotion to the Devourer Wurm and succumbed to their primal nature. Others still claimed they were something darker, haunting the deeper parts of the wilderness. Their origins remain unknown, but now, thanks to the Old Witch, myths become flesh and they step forth once more. 

No two of these amalgamations look the same. Each has claws, hooves, horns, and bony protrusions, yet their animal skull heads with empty, dark pits for eyes prove most haunting, somehow brimming with unnatural intelligence.

Each Primeval is unique — and yours will be, too. With a range of interchangeable heads and arm options, you can customise your warbeast to match your battlefield strategy.

Build a durable frontline monster with options like the Enchanted Shield or Runed Skull to boost resilience and control the fight, or create a savage striker with weapons like the Bone Sword or Enchanted Claw that hit hard and fast.

Prefer ranged pressure? Equip the Hunting Spear for devastating reach and brutal critical slams, or grant it True Sight with the Raven head, letting it see through Stealth and shrouds to strike unseen foes.

Unleash primal fury on your foes with the Feral warbeast, a relentless chimera of teeth, claws, and rage that strengthens any Umbrean force.

These are creatures of pure, ferocious instinct. When Wurmwood’s sap leeched into the groundwater catalyzed by its vengeful hatred, any animal that came into contact was twisted into a vicious beast.

They rapidly advanced along varied evolutionary paths that saw them gain tougher hides, sharper claws and teeth, wings, and quills. Left unchecked, these hyper-territorial creatures would maul and devour until nothing living remained within their range of detection.

As the Ferals began appearing in the vicinity of Wurmwood, the warlocks guarding the area were able to bind and control them. Rather than be the pariahs Wurmwood hoped, the beasts have strengthened the armies of Umbrey.. Now, each Umbrean warlock may draw upon the primal powers of the Ferals and unleash them upon the unsuspecting.
