Immortal horrors rise again

When the Orgoth were driven from Immoren centuries ago, not all of them left. Some sealed themselves into tombs with their armies, swearing vengeance beyond death itself. These revenants became the Graveborn; immortal tyrants who wake now to fight once more.

The terrifying Anathia, the Imperishable Desolation, and the Graveborn march to war with unholy creations like the Barrow Ghoul and the Charnel Hound. Their hatred has only sharpened during centuries of silence, and their fury is boundless.

“…While the nations and people of Western Immoren might have been ignorant of the presence of the Deathless within these stygian vaults, they and the dark forces they command have never been forgotten by the Orgoth, despite the passage of years.

Now, the Orgoth blackships and their fierce hordes have returned to the shores of Western Immoren, and the warlords of the second invasion have sought to entreat the ancient dead to join their depraved cause—albeit cautiously. The raw fury of the Deathless is fickle and their power immense. The slightest offense might create an unrelenting enemy more concerned with resolving ancient grudges than the final subjugation and destruction of the nations and peoples of Western Immoren.

Some, such as Anathia, the Imperishable Desolation, have responded enthusiastically to the overtures of the living warlords and recommitted themselves to wholesale conquest. Others have remained less forthright and refused to offer their aid—either because of a lack of faith in the leadership of the warwitches that now command the Orgoth or because they prefer to remain the masters of the domains they have kept for so long.”

A weekend of battles, stories, and celebration

Lock & Load is a full weekend of gaming, community, and celebration of all things Warmachine. This year the Iron Gauntlet US/NA finals will crown this year’s champion. If you’ve been racking up points at qualifiers, you’ll want to check where you stand. The Iron Gauntlet leaderboard shows the top scoring players across each region, updated once every two weeks with the latest results.

You’ll also find the Last Chance Qualifier open for a shot at taking on the finals and the exuberant Iron Arena, where players can jump in for exciting matched play and many more incredible activities.
