The Dwarven Host will soon be with us but we wanted to show the next set coming to Classic Fantasy Battles: The Boneblades!
Unlike the initial two releases for CFB – which featured a full frame that included a variety of unit types for one race – future releases for CFB will be unit-based. When I say „unit“ I mean 9 40mm x 20mm bases of the same type of troop (as shown below).
The reason for this approach is to give you a great deal of customizability in building your armies. Remember, as CFB is launched the focus will be Good vs Evil armies – so you can take any appropriate (Good or Evil or one of the ones that can be either) units into your army.
Then, over time, as we release more of the Undead units, you will be able to build a full Undead army as well!
This hard plastic box set includes 117 figures and bases from which you can build:
108 Skeletons with Sword and Shield (9 bases)
3 2-Skeleton Command
3 Casualties
and 48 skulls!Tooling (as you can see below) is finished, the molds are due for injection, the box is designed and off to the printer, and we will have these out to you in short order!

Sind OK, aber mich stören die Helme. Bei Skeletthorden will ich eine Masse an blanken Schäden sehen, die den Gegner angrinsen. Auf dem ersten Bild kann man kaum erkennen, dass es überhaupt Untote sein sollen.
Mich hat das zuerst auch gestört, es sind aber einige blanke Schädel im Gussrahmen. So hat man zumindest die Möglichkeit, ein paar von denen umzubauen.
Hä? Ohne Helm sind die doch sofort tot bei nem Treffer?!
